Looked at previous history on Bassala. I could not locate much so have not been able to analyse like Ive done for Labola, Bido and Kwademen. Sorry.

However, I have funny feeling that we might have a surprise news from Mr Bolton on Bassala.

In the earlier workings, which was the subject of your query, I took only a percentage of each hole's output, based on meters shown per hole as a proportion to the total meters. This gives the same result. Please let me know if you think this needs correcting and I will re-work.

Broadly, if you take the product of each line in my earlier workings, you will arrive at the total of 155.19 and divide this by the total of 54.1 drilled meters, it will give you 2.87 average per meter:

16 x 1.07 = 17.12
10.4 x 2.14 = 22.26
23 x 1.53 = 35.19
2.25 x 7.74 = 17.42
1.45 x 16 = 23.2
1 x 40 = 40

Please let me know if you think this is not what you expected.

You are right - both are amazing investments.
I listened to Mark's interview again on Proactive and I am not sure you all got the same feeling that he almost wanted to say how good Bassala is.

I reckon that the only reason we have just sold our investment to raise cash is Bassala is cracking and Mark wants this accelerated.

Could he also announce a JV on Bassala - seem plausible?

Coming back to the projects, unlike OMI (where I am also invested) for instance where its end share is only 25%, we have 100% owned projects, Bido and Bassala and the beauty is these are much well advanced. For every 10m ounces that Omi produces, we achieve similar outcomes from producing only 2.5m ounces and, by the way, we have half as many shares in issue.

I have posted earlier the likely outcomes on Bido and Kwademen (Kalaka) where earlier drill works have already been done on these projects. If there is sufficient information then I may attempt do likewise on Bassala.

TAKING No. 8 KWADEMEN INITIAL DRILL RESULTS AND ESTIMATING RESOURCE......
I was impressed by Kwademen past drill results. It may turn out that Kwademen and Kwademen South are linked and this forms one long target zone.

At Kwademen, historical work has returned several encouraging gold intercepts in broadly spaced drilling
(~200m to 300m line spacing) including:
• 16m @ 1.07g/t Au from 69m
• 10.4m @ 2.14g/t Au from 191m
• 23m @ 1.53g/t Au from 143m
• 2.25m @ 7.74g/t Au from 155.8m
• 1.45m @ 16.0g/t Au from 52m
• 1m @ 40.0g/t Au from 90m

"Soil sampling conducted by Panthera over the last two years has shown that this drilling is located to the
west of the main gold in soil anomaly and also west of the area of artisanal mining activity (Figure 3). The
main part of the gold in soil geochemical anomaly and associated artisanal gold mining activity CAN THUS BE SEEN TO REPRESENT A HIGHLY PROSPECTIVE 'WALK-UP' DRILL TARGET, with over 1,000m of strike potential."

Based on the above statement in the RNS (i.e. these (HIGHER GRADE) results are from the WEST OF THE MAIN SOIL ANOMALY AND CAN BE TAKEN AS REPRESENTATIVE OF THE MAIN TARGET ZONE), I have attempted to see what sort of resource we are likely to get at Kwademen (North):

ASSUMPTIONS / PARAMETERS USED:

(a) Strike length - given 1km (=1000m)
(b) Depth =It appears from the above drills that they have drilled up to 200m
(c) Width =Not given - Hence I will give 2 estimations based on 500m and a reduced width of 300m
(d) Density for the area = assumed industry average in west africa = 2.4 Tonnes / meter cube
(e) As with Labola, I have taken only 1/10th of the total calculations to account for the fact that some high grade outliers are ignored as they could be in isolation and the width and depth may not be the same throughout the whole strike length. I have indeed also reduced the strike length itself by taking only 1/10 of the overall result in case it was not continuous throughout.
(f) Recovery rate of gold = 80%

So, here goes:

1) Estimated Tonnage = [1000m x 500m x 200m] x 2.4 T/meter cube = 240,000,000 T2)
(2) The average grading works out to be 2.87grams per tonne as follows:

(4) Recovery 80% = 2,006,667 x 80% = 1,605,334 oz.

** If the width was only 300m as opposed to 500m, the end result would be 965,000 oz **

9) KWADEMEN SOUTH(to the south of KWADEMEN)

**** MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, the map is GEOCHEM COLOUR CODED and ALL OF THE TARGET AREAS ARE MOSTLY SHOWN IN DARK RED IMPLYING = MORE THAN 500 ppb gold **** - ******(MATCHING THE GRADES ON OROSUR MINING LTD GEO MAP)*****

(1) Over 9000 samples taken in the past show gold of UP TO 7,430 ppb. (compare this with when GGP results in RNS were advised)
(2) Strong indicators for economic scale gold mineralisation namely:
-(a)primary gold source for eluvial deposits - 3 eluvial zones have been identified
-(b) All known gold deposit in Mali are hosted in Birimian Greenstones - pAT's 80% tenement is within this.
-(c) The structure is conducive to structurally controlled gold deposits ( Yilgarn goldfields Western Australia)
(3) UP TO 10 target areas (OF WHICH 3 ARE PRIORITY TARGETS) namely:
(a)K1A TO K1E = 5
(c)K3A TO K3B = 2
(d)EM01 TO EM03 = 3
(4) LIMITED DRILLING ON JUST K1A:

(a)Anglo 12 DD holes and 17 RC holes - 25% of the samples returned over 1g/T
(b)A study by Wilson suggested 250,000 oz to 500,000 oz and if further infill drilling replicates this then it may be possible to declare a mineral resource for the project and anomalies continue along strike.
(c)Limited RAB drilling on few other targets show PRIMARY gold mineralisation.
(d) Please note that the economic cut off grades I believe these days is 0.5 g/T or even less than that - CHECK OUT GGP!!!!!
(5) Following grades were noted at K1A:

(a) K1AD001 = 246m@0.55g/T including 56m@1.02g/T and 1m@20g/T
(b)K1AD002 = 117m@0.59g/T including 6m@1.47g/T and 4m@2.4g/T

Just came off a call with Mr Bolton.

This was a great opportunity presented to Mark when the Tin prices have increased substantially, most likely due to supply issues which could only be temporary and therefore this kind of opportunity not presented again. So all in all, an excellent move to raise cash without diluting our shareholders and accelerate our 100 % West African projects namely Bassala and Bido.

On the news front- naturally we wait news on Moydow starting with Labola I believe will put PAT on a significantly different level.

(2) Already has 65000 meters of drilling
(3) The will be followed by further extensive drilling in Q2 to expand the resource
(4) then a full blown Fesibility Study for mine development = definitely a mine according to Mr Bolton

(B) BASSALA

-News of the initial works in Q1
-GeoChem and Geo Physics
-Side drill holes
-8 KM Strike Length
-Huge work already done previously
-Extensive artisinal workings already
-The above will allow us to quickly do a follow up drill programme probably also Q1

(C) BIDO - (BEREDO)

(1) This is 3 months behind Bassala - so in Q2
(2) Already highly advanced
(3)Geo Chem and Geo Physics
(4) Followed by drilling in Q2
(5) There are 7 to 8 other targets here so one project at a time

(D) Nigeria works programme

(1) Significant Peer review ongoing to ensure the drill works is effective
(2) So expect something in Q1

(E) KALAKA

(1) Significant number of projects / targets here
(2) Dont know the timeline - too much on the plate at the moment

Beredo Gold Target Update



Panthera Resources Plc (AIM: PAT), the diversified gold exploration and development company with assets in West Africa and India, is pleased to announce an update on its Beredo Target at the Bido Project, following a more detailed review of historical data across the Baredo Target area as announced on 19 November 2020.



Highlights

· Previous rock chip sampling has returned assay results including 17.3 g/t Au, 11.1 g/t Au, 8.91 g/t Au, 8.38 g/t Au and 8.21g/t Au from sub-cropping quartz veins over an area of about 3000m x 500m

· Veins generally trend approximately north-south, sometimes associated with artisanal workings

· Veins show evidence of box works after sulphides, tourmaline, and potassic alteration of host rocks

· Previous soil sampling delineated a series of north-northwest to north-south trending zones of anomalous gold in soil

· These are often associated with significant zones of eluvial artisanal gold mining activity
