....on TV talking about Vamousse and Guardian, with demonstration: http://www.wncn.com/video?clipId=10477525&autostart=true
Good find, gecko. Some of the link was blacked but I went to www.t i p t v . co.uk and fast forwarded on the video to 12.23 like you said. Another point of interest is that the Vamousse Head Lice Treatment and Prevention shampoo will be on the shelves of boots and Superdrug before the end of August.
bowyerism- I bought mine through 'TD Direct Investing' (TD Waterhouse) .
Good write up, Poetical. I see the Daily Mail have written a piece today saying that a re-rating must be on the cards. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/markets/article-2694998/MARKET-REPORT-Head-lice-allow-Tyratech-ahead-UK.html Shares of the AIM-listed company rose 6.5 per cent to 8.25p following news of a successful £3.5million share placing at 7p a pop to help finance the successful launch of the Vamousse product range in Superdrug and Boots stores in the UK, as well as further anticipated launches in other US retailers. They touched a high of 16p in February after WalMart, the world’s second-largest public corporation, stocked Vamousse in 4,100 of its stores, 20 per cent of which apparently sold out of stock within a couple of weeks. The US market for head lice controls is estimated to be worth around £91million per annum. Tyratech is also developing mosquito and tick repellents for humans and animals to service a market said to be worth around £1.5billion. A re-rating must be on the cards
Chris- Apparently it does work, and through independent testing is proven to work very well (and quick) indeed! This question was one that was asked to Bruno at a previous Tyratech presentation. I can't remember his exact answer but it was basically by calling it that meant being able to get it to market much, much quicker (aswell as a mega saving in the cost of doing so). I personally think it shouldn't make that much of a difference in sales, as working well and being totally safe would be the main factors for me if buying for my kids.

"We want parents everywhere to know that Vamousse™ head lice treatment product represents years of scientific research and development and is 100 percent effective and safe for our children," said Bruno Jactel, Chief Executive Officer of TyraTech. "Science has finally found a way to successfully harness safe materials for the immediate eradication and prevention of head lice, which is great news for families everywhere." http://www.cnbc.com/id/101543639 http://www.cnbc.com/id/101543639
'Close to 3400 Walmart stores have the product now and the word is that some are selling out already!' www.linkedin.com/company/tyratech-inc.?trk=top_nav_home
Don't think so as yet but one would think that should it sell well, Walmart would then look to stock in Asda stores in the UK, like you say. Also, one would expect many more deals with other retailers in the US (and maybe in the UK) would currently be in the pipeline.
Will post here also as i think more people read this than the TYR board! http://www.vamousselice.com/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39hQtYyBKzM Already now stocked in over 2000 Walmart stores: http://www.linkedin.com/company/tyratech-inc.?trk=top_nav_home

The RNS was referring to those who are eligible to migrate there shares, one of the conditions being those shares were continually held for a period of over 365 days.
Bluerose- Not true. You will get the exact same number of TYRU for each TYR held if the holder decides to swop (and eligible after holding for at least a year), as it's done on a straight 'one for one' basis. When people realise this the prices of both tickers will move closer together.
Good work, Todster. Hopefully that will help to clear up the confusion. TyraTech, Inc. TyraTech, Inc. EXCITING NEWS!! Successful first production run of VAMOUSSE for Wal-Mart shelves!!! Units of TyraTech's VaMousse head lice control product emerge off the production line to fill the first Wal-Mart orders. http://www.linkedin.com/company/tyratech-inc.?trk=top_nav_home
If you are a long term holder it should be a no brainer to buy TYR as at present they are MUCH cheaper and if after holding for a year TYRU are trading higher than TYR and you wish to sell, just convert them to TYRU!
TYR are restricted shares but people in the UK can buy them but have to first fill in form 'W-8BEN', although not all brokers will let you deal in them (i bought mine through TD Waterhouse). There is basically no difference between TYR and TYRU in respect of one is not 'better' than the other, although sometimes the prices of the 2 may be out slightly (like now). At present, TYR is cheaper to buy but it wasn't that long ago it was TYRU. After one year of holding TYR you can convert the shares to TYRU should you so wish.
