Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
It looks like an orchestrated response to me, it should be noted that Ben Gurion airport is still open and also that Passover begins on Monday evening.
The Iranians are playing it down, hopefully a form of sanity will prevail in both countries leaderships 🤞🏻

You posted:- “ GLG reduced short position on 28th March by 0.3%.”
I can’t seem to find that, according to Shorttracker GLG increased their short to. 0.51% on the 28th of March, are you sure you’ve got that right?
I note with interest that GLG Partners have opened a 0.51% short position on CARD (see shorttracker), I guess this explains the recent share price drop, I would imagine that they’ve been hiding under the 0.5% disclosure level for some time but they’ve now shown their hand.
I’ve held Card Factory for 14 months and experienced the short selling nonsense when Lombard Odier had a sizeable short position forcing the share price down to the mid 40’s, I’ve a very large holding in CARD with a 51p average and I’m not concerned in the slightest.
GLG Partners are trying to sow the seeds of doubt into PI’s minds in the run up to to the results due out on the 25th April, personally they won’t be buying my holding on the cheap, I fully expect Cards share price to be £1+ once GLG crawl back under their rock.
All the best and good luck to all genuine Card Factory shareholders.
Apologies, should read “Jax”
Morning Jaz,
The Interim Results are out on Monday.
Cheers Paul
Pleasure mate, glad it helped.
I know Panda, you couldn’t make it up, the sledging team must think we’re all stupid :)
Hi Deano,
In June 2020 Hyve completed a rights issue whereby for every 40 shares held you could purchase 9 new shares at a price of 69p.
This increased the issued shares by 22.5%, to calculate the effect on the pre rights issue share price on any date prior to the fund raising you need to reduce the share price by 18.36%. For example, Hyves share price on the 3rd January 2020 on the charts is shown as 568p, less 18.36% this becomes 464p when you take into account the share dilution.
Hope this helps and makes sense :)
Cheers Paul
Seems like it’s the Badflaw and Simes show on here at the moment, mmmmmm wonder if they share a desk in Lombards sledging department? Maybe, who knows, who cares?
Good luck and best wishes to all genuine investors, stay strong and keep the faith, good things come to the patient.
Broker upgrade:-
Senior PLC, up 8.5% at 128.40 pence, 12-month range 112.18p-185.00p. Barclays boosts its recommendation on the engineering components manufacturer to 'overweight' from 'underweight'. "With 2020 trough earnings now firmly behind, restructuring activities completed and delivering run rate savings, 2022 begins a meaningful recovery," says Barclays.
I detect a hint of desperation setting in, I’ll have mine with milk, one sweetener and a packet of custard creams please.
I see Lombards tea boy is still trying to get PI’s to sell their shares on the cheap so they can escape from their short position, you couldn’t make it up.
Restrictions on payment of dividends continue to apply until CLBILS facilities and the £11.25m term loan are repaid (expected 31 January 2024), subject to the Leverage ratio being 1.5x or less.
No dividend until early 2024 but wonderful news and a timely update from the board, best of all is that Lombard Odier and Citadel are getting their fingers burnt, love it :)
Well done to everyone who stayed “strong and long” and good luck to all long term holders for the future.
“And my professional status in physics and engineering obliges me to question as a default position.”
I’m afraid standards are slipping chaps, it seems that you can rise to the top in Physics and Engineering without even having a basic grip of arithmetic, truly hilarious :)
Hi Ossingh,
IAG have a dual listing and can be traded in pounds sterling on the LSE and in Euros on the Madrid stock exchange, IAG are after all a Spanish company.
I reiterate that the Madrid stock exchange was open and trading yesterday (Monday the 27th) and will be open and trading today (Tuesday the 28th) , yesterday IAG were up by 0.44% as per my previous post at a closing price of 1.71 Euro.
Regarding “bank holidays” , last Friday (Christmas Eve) wasn’t one, the LSE closed early at 12.30pm simply because it was Christmas Eve, obviously the LSE was closed yesterday and will be closed today because they are bank holidays.
I hope this makes sense and apologies for the essay.
All the best and good luck to everyone with their investments in the new year.
