The hardest part of this (or owning any share in general) is the ability to do hold and do nothing, especially when you see other shares moving. So, I'm going to try and avoid looking at this share on a daily basis, and let my previous research of the company's fundamentals prove itself to be true. GLA

Considering coming back in, but only sub 450 buy price

Considering the recent movement in gold prices, this stock is extremely quiet. Especially when considering that it's one of the few gold miners that pay a dividend

I have Cora Gold on my radar for a while. I will start buying only when it becomes a gold producer, although for those will a slightly higher risk tolerance than myself and the current price of gold, feel free to do your research and invest if it still looks good

I bought Shanta around the 4.70 level a couple of months ago and sold around 5.50. For those who've stayed in being patient, I commend your resolve. I'm not buying back in personally, but based on assets and net income, this still looks like an excellent company

It doesn't make sense how a company with these kind of assets is trading so low. I would suggest reducing management base salary and exchanging it with share linked bonus payments. That would increase management's incentives to prioritise shareholder value and possibly induce the introduction of a dividend

Allan Gray (the asset management company), not the actual man has increased their shares in their Africa ex South Africa Fund. In my opinion, that's significantly better than any individual buying shares

This stock is starting to look interesting again. Asset wise, excellent, but the lack of positive net income is somewhat disconcerting. I may have to come back in mid 6s

I can see a constant number of 5000 and 10000 share buys within 1 minute ranges . The first at 9.14am, the second at 9.48am. Some algo buys are clearly happening and the maximum number of shares I can currently purchase is 1 million compared to the previous week's 2.7 million. Should be an interesting end to the week...

I don't think this is an easy share to "trade" since the daily gyrations are difficult to track. But if you wish to "invest" aka buy and hold for the mid to long term, then I say buying anywhere around 4-5p could easily move to 8p-10p with any form of concrete positive news (i.e. MOU upgraded to contract signing or OPL renewal)

When I say Allan Gray buying, I'm referring to the asset management firm (one of the largest in South Africa I must say), rather than Allan Gray the owner. He's no longer involved in the day to day running of the firm, so this is essentially a mutual fund acquiring more shares.

It's interesting that an Institutional investor is buying. They are long term holders, rather than short term quick movers. Whether this will result in a significant increase in share price is questionable in the short term, but bodes very well in the long term

Maximum number of shares that can be bought is 1 million around 4.9p. Yesterday, 2.7 million block. There's definitely a buyer or the seller is finished. Expecting 5p+ end of day buy price, slightly sub 4.70-4.90 sell price.
