Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Based on current yield and depending on if the special dividend is paid (which has been paid for the last 2 years), we're currently sat on a yield of 3.8% and a potential yield above 8%. Either way, that's more than the majority of gold miners
Completely agree. An excessively overdone selling especially at gold anywhere over $1500. Expecting a rerate back to the 70s based on current dividend yield, the fact that there's no change in production and the p/e ratio based on current earnings is sub 5.7
It's been a pleasure talking with all the long term holders. I decided to sell out yesterday since Lek was my main holding (by a significant margin) and needed to diversify. Good luck to all those remaining. Remember to take small profits every now and again (just for safety reasons). I'll check up on the board every now and again
Wise decision LeeRex. I feel like us long term holders have been unfairly caught out by short term spikes, so it was just a thought.
It's actually crazy how quickly the share price rapidly changes. I've sold some just to reduce my position. The upside is still excellent, just remaining a bit more cautious after being caught out last time. GLA again all, especially the long term holders
To all the newcomers welcome aboard. To all my fellow long term holders, we saw, we held and we conquered!!!! I agree to enjoy the ride, but also remember to diversify your holdings. GLA and once again congrats :)
Nice buys coming in again. Thank you Royal dutch Shell :)
Everything seems to be falling into place very nicely. News and signing should not be too soon by the looks of it
This is one of those companies which look incredibly attractive asset wise (net assets around £500 million ), market cap £170 million. But I refuse to buy this until management salaries are significantly reduced. Considering most of it's income is from Union Bank, a person may as well cut out the middle man and directly buy shares of the bank. Also Union Bank is also overly priced when compared with other Nigerian banks.
I don't think it's a leak. I think it's just the realisation that the price is ridiculously low
Agreed. Patience is the most difficult part of owning any stock, especially when previous positive news has yet to be reflected in the share price. The fundamentals still haven't changed which is the most important part. GLA
Looks like Mr 20 is still here. I understand everyone's frustrations with waiting for some news, especially when other shares are available at good prices/ some may want to hold cash. I too hope that are patience will be rightly rewarded. The company fundamentals are still positive after all. GLA
This is much better. Gave me a bit of a fright yesterday afternoon. Lucky for whoever managed to buy sub 5p yesterday. Onwards and upwards once again :)
I'm not sure what's going on but I can't buy more than 200000 shares. There was also a strange big drop but instant rebound
That was yesterday (the 2nd). But I agree, there is clearly silent buying :)
I really don't understand what's going on right now. The spread is tightening and there are alot of 50s throughout the week. If we can maintain a spread sub 5% I'll be happy
