As for Cineworld Court case, what I've been listening to as it stands, Cineworld will win. :-)))) we have all the evidence/facts

Realisticinvestor That was this year 2021.not the same at all, Cine had been closed for months. So it's definitely NOT the same, Cineplex stopped paying there rent, lease agreements, film studio, producers, when they were fully open, in the first 3 months 2020

Well what did you think, (it's a break) anyway, first off Cineplex was not worried at all about the pandemic in January, February or the beginning of March as memos ect was read out.

So why did they deferred their payments in January, February ect??? I'm sure that is what Cineworld lawyer is getting at.

KickThePuss, I listened in a bit of the trial, but it was only Cineplex, all about the pandemic. I must admit I missed most of it. What I did hear though that the movies before that December/January I think, didn't do well at all. (star wars and another) Plus they talked about Bond got pushed back as they were relying on that film (but was that suppose of come out in April though?) All about the pandemic, and done what most businesses would do (Jan, Feb, March) defered payments, as they were thinking about if the virus hit Canada.

Which was all a load of waffle as there was no pandemic in January and February.

But like I said I missed loads of it, think it will be better tomorrow if its Cineworlds turn to be asked questions by their own lawyer.
