I agree with you somewhat BillyRayVal but LB has had plenty of time to prove his worth but has failed, I truly believe that the share price is so weak because of HIM. Even if he concludes partnering on any of the blocks, I will still be doubtful about his ability but it does depend on the terms of the deal. I'm glad that my posts have made you think further about the matter, let us know if you get any response but going by experience Larry won't reply and IR usually responds by stating "we will inform the market as and when there's something to update".

That has already happened, we went to the PI event in 2015 but nothing came of it. There was a lot of back lash towards the organisers from the usual suspects on here afterwards.

I'm trying another way but there doesn't seem to be much support for the idea. Only 16 shareholders have voted on the main poll and there's 8 votes on the second poll, which is pretty poor to be honest.

In all fairness Larry has failed as a CEO but still remains at the top - I wouldn't be surprised if he is still CEO even after failing to attract partners for Lixus. I have provided my thoughts on the post and given clear reasoning. If he does pull a rabbit out of the hat then I will be cheering him on but he has been a let down time after time yet. He has been CEO for nearly 7 years, the share price was at around 28p when he took over. The only people to have done well out of Chariot are Larry, his world class team of colleagues and his appointed brokers who advised on the fund raises.

The common issue among shareholders is that Larry Bottomley is not the man to lead this company.

Nice to hear from you Oiltap and appreciate your compliments. You have been greatly missed like a few others who seem like they have moved on. This could be a good time to get in but you never know with Larry in charge, if a deal is not agreed soon we could be heading to 2p. Since he took over from Paul Welch the share price seems to be following in the direction of the bank balance. However, the company have met all the deadlines that they've set in regards to the Lixus licence apart from one, which is partnering by Q4 2019 so maybe this could be a turning point.

FiveCandles, there have been some odd trades recently and the share price seems like its being held in a tight range but there is no volume. We used to have millions being traded years back when the share price was at c.£1 and there were less shares in issue. We need at least 10m+ daily volume to get excited IMO.

He mentioned all the things that have been presented to us after the acquisition of Lixus (low risk discovered gas resource, low risk nearby exploration, clear path to monetisation, strong Moroccan gas market, access to European markets, high licence equity at 75%, etc) He also said that over 100 companies have been contacted to partner and the data rooms are very busy, he mentioned that he is looking forward to updating Shareholders on partnering. However here we are 5 months down the road still waiting for the company to conclude partnering discussions. Partnering does take time to conclude, lets hope its concluded sooner rather than later. Partnering for Lixus won't be as straight forward as just selling some equity in the licence to a farm in partner for a agreed sum of money, there will be much more to discuss and agree.

ollycromwell, we are stuck with Larry whether we like it or not. He has been paid well since he took over in 2012 and he has been gifted a lot of shares too, lets hope that he creates value for Shareholders and grows the value of his stock too. If we didn't acquire the Lixus licence then I would be really worried, I am cautiously optmistic that even Larry can't mess this up from here.

I don't blame you for the lack of optimism to be honest, shareholders have been let down very badly by this management. This is a chance to redeem themselves so, lets see what the outcome is. This can't carry on for long, time is running out for the company and the funds are decreasing, they have a great opportunity to prove us wrong and make amends.

What impact, if any will this deal have on Chariots partnering process?
$112.8m does seem like a decent amount of money for a 24.2% stake in the licence.
Chariot has more 2C resource than Sound so it would be an interesting outcome to partnering discussions

Sorrt to say that you are wrong ollycromwell, you only have to read the bb occasionally to see the negative posts attacking other posters as these have been constant for years. You can check their member info and read previous posts to see if you like, you won't find anything useful just personal attacks and insults. I have made use of the filter button :-)

I have been here a long time too and agree that the company's track record has been poor but I communicate my concerns directly with Chariot as this is the only way that they will get addressed.

I post my concerns on bb's as welll and I'm up for balanced debates and open discussions but its pretty difficult to have a sensible debate with posters who are just here to cause disruption.

I am all for balanced opinions but some posters history paints a alternative picture.

I am also a LTH with a different opinion to the said poster who seems to have a negative outlook on the company but continues to be invested or maybe not based on previous debates.
