Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The scientific, biological, astronomical etc advancements/discoveries they made pre-20th century are always astonishing even well in to the 20th, like creating Concorde and landing man on the Moon.. All by using straight rulers and very sharp pencils!

Pfffff hmm... I made some enquiries, phoned around and even asked the postman.. I have one friend here who's willing but he said he'll erm *cough* have the lot for £50 and a pack of chewies
GG guys, Nuri pointed out the obvious that Africa is ravaged by corruption so guess HE1 don't have a chance then lol. Now that is some serious straw clutching to try and scare us hahaha do you not think that maybe if anything the high level of corruption would help us? At one point does corruption = potentially very profitable long term company be worthless... Plus as Kopf mentioned, corruption is everywhere. Even here in the UK the Covid-19 response has laid bare the incredible corruption that takes place. Matt Han**** paying his mate's millions in PPE contracts who can barely make the equipment whilst genuine PPE manufacturers are ignored. Boris swindling tax payer's money for things like his flat renovation, Kate Bingham who was formerly head of the vaccine procurement task force who... also held stakes in the same companies she was buying vaccines off once again using our money, Han**** extending the length of time Serco (I believe) is allowed to harvest our data by another two years... Why?? (He was actually taken to court for this and last time I heard they won but not sure whether they won the whole case), test and trace costing £34 billion.. America is far, far worse. So I guess there's no point in investing in any British or American company then because apparently corruption = worthless stocks lol get a grip and get f*cked
It's been pushed back until the start of June pal. After completing their 2D infill seismic study, one of their low-priority prospects called 'Tai' was moved up to the highest priority as the seismic results are looking really promising and the size of the gas underneath is far bigger than previously thought. Due to this, they've pushed it back to get the equipment over there and setup in due course. So expect early June spud, end of June results with an RNS detailing helium being found in the mud logs in between
Not a problem and thanks man :) I'm obviously not expecting to become wealthy over night but nor am I wanting to 2% gains so CFDs can be a good option to use you just have to be really confident, understand support and resistances lines and basically good fundamentals like normal. I would buy some CFDs for HE1 as well if it was on T212 (it's only on IG).
And yeah, I was quite fortunate in that regard! That's good though mate, even 19 I think will be incredibly cheap one day soon
In terms of HE1, I haven't had much of an issue with them. I just put down the partial filling at the time to there not being many shares being sold at the time so you probably wouldn't have that issue now I would imagine. In other terms, the website is great on the eyes, a surprising amount of stocks listed etc there are some serious issues though, I've been told over time of a few dodgy things they do such as betting against you on CFDs and I swear even closing people's positions. They lost me a lot of money to be honest on CFDs over Christmas when they increased the required margin I think it was (basically, I was up a lot. Thought "**** this" moved elsewhere and then loads of bad news came out of nowhere. Since I didn't have the big green cushion of profit, I got margin called rip). I've signed up to quite a few other sites, Etoro, IG, XTB, Fxpro etc but T212 is one of the 'best' imo. Apart from that I can't offer much more of an opinion, I bought in at around 7.7 to 8.4 and I haven't bought any more since so I'm not sure what the situation is like now in that regard, sorry :(
Bunsa that's a very good point. It kind of happened to me to be honest. I wish I was like some on here investing huge amounts but one of my buys was worth £1500ish and that got broken up in to two with T212 saying my order was partially filled and then a few hours later completely filled
I've been here for a few months when there was a handful of posts a day and they were mainly from Dai and the odd Trek one. We said/knew this was going to happen as the price increases, it's just something you'll naturally get :) Just ignore it best you can, keep buying and hold :)
ST, I don't see why not. Or even SpaceX? I'm sure they've started making their own fuel now and DM said that SpaceX use $12 million worth of helium per flight, why not buy HE1 and cut the price of the helium they're buying from $1500 per MCF (potentially, DM said that's what some end users are paying) to is it $50? (For HE1 to break even). When he's hoping to send 1 million to Mars (each flight would need a separate cargo ship, each ship could hold around 200 people, a lot of flights), set up Starlink, supply the Space Station, main contractor for the Artemis mission etc, that's an incredibly high amount of helium he'll need. So buy HE1, cut the cost of the flights drastically making them even more appealing to the market as a contractor resulting in more contracts and still have a $6 billion asset that's making you $150 million on top of all that. Doesn't sound too bad to me
I would agree with SeaHawk. They're not looking to heavily gamble (even if the evidence is strong) tens of millions when they could lose most of it, especially when it's not always their money per say (hedge funds). They're looking for a more reliable return. Plus, "lost £30 million of my customer's money gambling it on an AIM stock lol" doesn't necessarily look the best on anyone's CV haha
Bench, I've said from the beginning that I think even £1 will look cheap one day. As I've said a few times before, even £10 which is an insane number compared to current prices doesn't sound like an unreasonable amount. £6 billion mcap for the world's largest helium reserve that can provide eco-friendly helium to an ever growing market with an ever-restricted supply. I think DM even said they expect to make £150 million a year profit.. Not absolutely insane numbers compared to some companies nowadays but it's pretty much guaranteed profit for over a century.. They're also sitting on is it $50 billion worth of helium? Dunno, to me even £6 billion doesn't sound like too bad of a price or maybe I'm just being overly-optimistic
I believe DM said there will be a flow of helium coming out of the bore as they're drilling (obviously, once they've reached the helium deposits). I think he also said they'll be testing the mud that's drilled out for signs of helium that are present. Also, I think they're planning on production in 2022/23 as well. That 200 BCF is looking more and more likely though
Scott22, yeah DM said in the latest presentation that the reason why they've now delayed the drilling and gone for the Tai prospect is because of how well the helium has accumulated and been seemingly trapped. Hopefully the helium seeping to the surface is just from over spilling of the traps. DM did also say that they'll be looking at up upgrading the road to the Tanzam highway
