Plenty of Rns but not the one I want as a shareholder. Please lets have one with news of production & sale of anything bringing in cash. This share is extremely frustrating to hold
How about us operating the open pit at Luansobe & sending the ore to one of the JLP refining centres. We would then have guaranteed income as it is sold. I dont need to remind you that Colin Bird was the boss at JLP once & still has a shareholding in it.
I hope there is a deal with JLP for the Luansobe Project open pit.. We should soon know after their vote on the 28th. Are we going to supply ore to them for refining.
Companies quoted so far below NAV do not usually stay independent for long, they are usually snapped up by bigger companies who then can liquidate the cash & perhaps concentrate on the uranium etc. Do you class POW as a metals discovery company or an investment company. they should not be both.
If the price goes below 13p to buy I will be topping up my holding. I bought my holding at 12.9p when the price slumped in March this year. The basics & prospects are good, the market price is a bargain. The only question is when do we get the pay off, we cannot answer that. I believe it may well be taken over if the BOD do not get their fingers out. Market prices are often wrong as my holding in KZG confirms (70% profit) and hopefully my holding in GLR bought at 1p yet to materialise. A lot of patience is sometimes needed .
New one out today, looks like they are reducing their holding in Guardian Metal, I wonder what they are doing with the cash (approx. £6m pounds I estimate).
There is no guarantee a share buy back will increase the value of the shares eg. the share consolidation in 2024 has proved to be useless regarding total value.
My opinion is a special dividend to shareholders if not a buy back at a reasonable price. They have not got the money, dont make me laugh, they should sell some more shares in GMET.
There are only 116m shares in issue, this is a small amount for an exploration company. A share buy back is pointless unless holders are rewarded with a fair premium to the current depressed price.
I think POW should sell their remaining holding in GMET & give a special dividend to long suffering shareholders. GMET could be years away from showing any income & the share price is now inflated beyond reason.
