I’ve recently retired from the RAF and invested a portion of my lump sum in shares paying a dividend. I’m looking to have £5500 coming in via these means by the time I hit 55 (the age I really want to take my foot off the pedal). I have 13 years to achieve this.
I like the looks of the recent acquisition and the near term cash flow it’s going to deliver, but ultimately it’s about the future dividend. I have a price in mind to offload a potion of my holding (around 3m) and will likely retain 500000 shares for income.
