What a good 2 weeks we’ve had. I’ve bought and sold ten times, making over £2k. Only with a £3700 stake. I’m a retired Postie and I’m happy to make a few hundred here and there (£450 today). My highly paid lawyer girlfriend even asked me to invest £2000 for her this morning and I managed to make her £200. As if she hasn’t got enough! Onwards and upwards everyone.

Yes, I too, lost on ADME with the sheikh fiasco. I wonder whether I should write to him asking for my £5000 back.

I’ve done the same, but more than 4 times! The thing is you don’t know if it’s going to keep going up. I’m staking £3700 and have made £1600 the last few weeks.

Well, whilst doing a 40 mile ride yesterday I decided I should be content with making £100 a day (if possible) rather than keeping shares long term. I DO have 37,000 RMG that are currently £45k down but I’ve had them years and need them to get back to £3.03 to break even. Cheers

Not so, 3300; I’ve sold, bought, sold and bought back today already, making £257 which is 3 times what I earned as a postie. I’ve made £824 this week. I know this is small fry to some of you chaps but I’m a poor pensioner now.....

Yes, I too am wondering about “Auction”. I’m 59 and have bought shares since I started at 18 with 100 Cable & Wireless. Could some of the more knowledgeable posters on here please explain the auction process. Many thanks.

Cheers. As I’m retired now I like to make a few hundred here and there (£1000 plus on AML in a week) to keep me away from work. I do, however have a large amount of RMG which are currently £46k down. And I’ve only got 6018 AML at the mo.

I know I should have just top-sliced.

Well, I obviously didn’t know they’d go to 61p.

I bought, deos, at 61.4 (today) but I have bought at 34 and sold at 49, then bought at 52 and sold yesterday at 58. I only have 6000 shares though.
