I’ve had a few Porsches……..
At last. Where’s my post gone about not responding to a certain poster?
JSP11L@ Toffers a woman? Haha.
Welcome back Tilly, we’ve missed you. We’d never know if anything bad had happened to any of the stalwarts on here, ie Ian. I’m still here holding 343,000 at 26p. Onwards and upwards me hearties!
Well, something’s happening. I’ve a mere 12,515 shares, most of which I’ve had for years, average 28p.
The dividend will increase by 60%? Well, as it’s nothing at the moment….
Red: when I joined RM in 1997 I “bought” an extra week and a half’s holidays so I could have 6 weeks a year. Someone said “you can always have a week on the sick”….
There’s always been people who never voted. They’re just not interested, strangely.
Are we getting a dividend then?…..😀
It’s still a no from my old office apparently…
GavinM, is your post about RM or Tuffnells as it’s in the Tuffnells thread?
Earlier and he says there’s 5 walks not going out every day. He’s working every day off and getting an hour’s extended delivery (overtime) every day too. Says he’s never had it so good. I said I’ll have to return…..meanwhile I did mention that DK has upped his stake but true to form he said he’s not interested.
“The government will step in”? Why?
And TC can’t spell his own name….
Mr.Wolfe, and he still won’t say how many he’s got..
Apparently the above have a special central committee meeting to discuss whether to recommend the deal. And they decided they could not recommend it to their members. The plot thickens.
Newdealz as I’ve mentioned before there were nearly 400 (or 300) who refused the free shares which totalled 913. A free £5000 at the height of the share price. Odd eh?
Ava-Dean, our shares are with IDS, which includes GLS, you know the company that actually makes money…
Yes Anger, I’ve watched it too. Hopefully any (sane) posties who’ve seen it will vote yes. However, there will be thousands who won’t vote at all and most will do as the union say no matter what. So, I predict that the vote will be a narrow yes. Even though it would be interesting to see what happens with a no return.
IsleworthSpy, as I said in my post at 14:02 posties should buy shares to stop someone taking over. Why you question that I don’t know.
The Lexus business is tongue-in-cheek that’s all. I don’t like Japanese cars.
