Redceo, do you know something we don't? It seems to be going down again to me.

I think a lot will sell as they consider it "free money" no matter what they get. I DO try to educate my colleagues about the shares.

The freebies we were given 5 years ago reach the tax free selling point which is 15th October. So there probably WILL be a flood of sellers.

Well, I've accidentally done a spot of shorting. Sold 4000 yesterday and bought them back making £3600. I could give up posting at this rate!

Well, I've been meaning to sell some of my RMs for a while so managed to at 2.30 pm. I've just bought them back making more than I would delivering mail for 6 weeks! Amazing.

I take it you were one of the 300 odd Posties to refuse the free shares?

Most of the Posties in my office sold all they could after the three year anniversary.

How refreshing to read a post by someone whose grammar is spot on. I'm still holding just over 14,000 here so today's dividend is quite nice. And it's been very busy today here in Manchester. More and more packets delivered. Got to go and pick my Porsche up now. TTFN

I sold at �5.60 and bought back at �5.25. A tidy �960 gain plus the divi if I keep them that long. I'd have been happy to make �400 but when I saw the price this morning I pounced. Mind you, I should have sold some the other week at �6.30 and bought those back to make even more but hindsight eh? Happy days

Years of seeing people trade this share I've finally managed it myself. Sold 3000 about a month ago and bought them back today. It's almost better than walking the streets! I hope to do it again.

Why is the dividend being paid so late this year?

We were limited to 3030 shares. My �4.50 average is for all my shares including our 913 freebies.

It's hard to work out when to sell at times and then what to do with the proceeds if you do sell. I still have 10,000 costing �45k so I'm �18k up, but as I have them for the income I'd need to put any profit (if I sold) into something else. Decisions decisions.......

If our results show we've made shed loads of profit what are the chances of a substantial increase in the dividend? And would anyone like to guess?

Ah, I sold at �5.60 so they need to go to �5.40 for my hopeful 20p drop. My average is �4.50.

Thanks Arsenal. I have them for the income (still a working postman), but now I've sold 3,000 I'm wondering where to put the �16k. I've some She'll and BP and others. I was hoping RM would drop 20p so I could buy them back, but they've gone up!

3000 of my 13,000 because I think I had too many. Is 10,000 still too many? And thoughts Arsenal?
