AngerSharkz@ so there’ll be even less money left for a pay increase! The CWU should really have called for a work to rule process instead of striking, maybe. BWDIK.
Mac, didn’t the last DFS we were waiting for take ages to come through?
It occurred to me last night that even though RM are “losing £1m a day” they’ll be saving more by not paying the striking posties. There’s 115,000 on strike apparently; take off those on holiday, official day not working (one a week) and people off sick and that leaves say, 80,000 (a guess). 80,000 times roughly £100 per day pay equals £8m. Subsequently I don’t think the management will be too bothered. And for anyone’s information I’m retired now, but I still have shares.
Why?
I’m assuming that’s a question? Well, there’s a wonderful thing nowadays called “the internet”. This is a source of information that you can acquire with the use of a computer. There’s a search engine called Google. “Ask the Google” as someone close to me says…..
Cheers JB. I was wondering when RM floated that there was something in the prospectus that didn’t allow this. Of course most posties don’t care about all this, but they should start buying.
Will a foreigner be allowed to takeover?
Whatever happened to the “written proposal received” or words to that effect?
We’re all retired with nothing to do! Well, I’ve been out on my bike. What else shall I do today?
I’m hoping one day we’ll find out why some people were more affected by Covid than others and even with the vaccine itself. I, fortunately, didn’t suffer with either. Glad your humour hasn’t been affected by it Tilly.
The looming energy crisis should sort the obesity epidemic out as no one will be able to afford food. The latest prediction I heard yesterday was £6000 a year! Time to buy more jumpers methinks.
We could call him Hoof Hearted….
Ace, Tilly!
Welcome back Tilly.
And a 1 trade for the believers as Tilly would say.
Hi SteJSteJ, where would we find these?
He did. He’s ok.
Weren’t we waiting for a DFS about 18 months ago that took forever to arrive?
Cheers LB (I always think of Windsor Davies with your moniker!). I asked the same question the other week but no one bothered answering. I’d thought maybe us lowly shareholders may have been able to buy some.
Are these just for the directors to buy?
