The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
The Company was notified on 11th November 2009 that, as at 10th November 2009, Rensburg Fund Management Limited was interested in 1,270,000 ordinary shares of 25p each in Redhall, representing approximately 4.29% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
getting interesting now on another tick up!
+4p http://www.plusmarketsgroup.com/details.shtml?ISIN=GB0001112035/GBX/PLUS-exn Would like to see some more buys on the Plus to put further pressure on the normal sp
No sells so far today, most I've been offered for a low and high sell is £1.33p
132/135 live
All these buys and it won't tick up! MMs are desperate for sellers I see, offering the mid price!
Let's see what today brings... I notice we open higher at 132.5 Thanks prash, I will have a look at AMEC.
A snippet from advfn "All the big construction companies either have a nuclear division or are preparing to cover this sector (Carillion, Balfour Beatty, Babcock, Amec, Costain). So I would see a potential for takeover interest, especially at these current share price levels." So many names are in a position to bid but my guess if they want instant access they will have to be quick in regards to the rising sp/results etc.
I don't think Redhalls results in Dec will be below par. They have already announced one contract win, one or perhaps two more before results is pretty certain and the proposed acquisitions the chairman mentioned. My only fear now is (as with Babcock today) is the profit-taking once they are announced on Dec. 3rd (guessing the sp will be 165-180 by then)! (Also, the threat of a takeover seems ever more possible on some of the buying patterns I've noticed on recent days - wouldn't surprise me at all if their is a RNS at 7am one day this week or next)
Someone has deep pockets £177,000!!! on a late reported trade.
odd rise on one trade :o
are we likely to see a RNS now for the seller within the next few days?
go out to a late lunch and come back to this! yey! hehe
Babcock taking a hammering today :o Maybe they are jumping ship and joining Redhall lol
can see why the price rose at 9.25am with those delayed trades!
Think the overhang has cleared on this now? Plus Markets just turned blue as well although with a horrible spread.
Blue at last
Half yearly update: http://fool.uk-wire.com/cgi-bin/articles/200911100700092338C.html They certainly are doing well and in a position to bid if they want to!
another 50k brought as I posted!
another day of huge buying. No doubt some large buys before close like last week!
