Yeah, that drill has been pushed back time and time again.

From memory their market cap is basically fully covered by the value of their percentage % ownership of atome energy.

So zero premium factored in for any other assets.

Can't remember the last time they did any PR.

In theory it should be just administrative task to reassign / trnasfer the licences etc

I bet there will also be some 'tax' to pay to transfer those licences also.

I understand the point you are making though.

I think most minitisty of Mines around the world are happy for Exploration licences to be held by offshore entities but when they hand out mining licences I think they want them to be either held in companies that are registered in their country or have a nailed down profit sharing agreement in place.

Either way the government will want to ensure they control what can be mined, what environmental issues are adhered to, how long the resource can be mined for and what actions need to be taken at the end of mining to reduce any adverse impact on the environment or the local communities.

But a priority will no doubt be the government ensuring that they get their cut of local taxes.

This must be the first time you have actually 'under cooked' a price target.. lol :-)

Arc Minerals is pleased to announce that the substantive regulatory conditions precedent with regards to its Joint Venture Agreement with a subsidiary of Anglo American plc ("Anglo American") as previously announced (the "JVA") have been satisfied.

Arc further announces that the parties have completed the subscription of shares in the joint venture company resulting in a 70% interest having been acquired by Anglo American and a 30% interest having been acquired by Unico Minerals Ltd, a 67% subsidiary of Arc Minerals Ltd.

In addition, Arc is pleased to confirm that drilling at one of the key joint venture licences has commenced.

From market cap of just £440k anyone could chuck £80k in and buy up 20% of the company and spark takeover rumours.

It's clearly not an investment.

But there could be a dead cat bounce.

The dangers are a suspension of trading landing out of the blue.

So the ones I've seen successfully pumped as dead cats have been when a fixed date is announced outlining a point in time (say 2-3 weeks from now unless they fail to find a buyer etc) then the shares will be suspended amid formal liquidation proceedings

That's typically a scenario when i've noticed the pampers having a go and chancing their bets.

Basically their present debt obligations which have led to a higher AISC vs peers.

At one point their AISC was higher than the price of gold.

This isn't unusual when ramping up operations as cap ex will also be higher in any mine establishment phase.

If they can increase output and reduce their costs to reduce their AISC it could become highly profitable.

So far they haven't been able to do so for any extended period of time.

Can they turn it around once their new mine gets up to full production?

Can't ever be 100% but it looked to me at least like their was spoofing taking place.

I actually think this may have been taking place over at He1 and have seen if on other shares after a placing lands.

All fake volume or illusion of interest in a particular stock.

Think we have had discussions previously about the volumes seen washed through at often 300-400% of a placing volume yet the price hasn't shifted.

Weird isn't it when that happens as your every day aim traders won't be buying and selling dozens of times a day.

What really made me laugh is that even one of the ramp crew appeared to notice what was taking place and posted something about it, but was quickly brought to order by his fellow rampers.

Anyway... worth reading up on spoofing.

But explains why you often see these type of hype stocks go from 1000 trades a day down to just 10 trades a day a few weeks after a placing has been forward sold.

I can't ever remember having a post removed.

It wasn't controversial in any way.

That's evidence enough for me that there is some kind of pre placing organised pump operation taking place over there as I decided to watch the posts for a little while during trading hours and noticed that any post that wasn't firmly in the full on ramp camp was reported and removed.

So looks super super dodgy now imv.
