Clearly better opportunities here then right now as lloyds has even more room for its SP to move up to peers recent SP performance.

Yeah, it could, but I'm not surprised to see the SP fall as investors in BEN are clearly just getting out at any price now the writing is on the wall.

Even the MM's won't want to hold it.

This can lead to an exaggerated dead cat bounce scenario of fhe types we saw in 2023 when the small cap markets were awful and the dying dogs were getting pumped by the day traders.

Thing is, if proper news driven rallies are back en vogue and markets are finally moving up properly on news (and not selling off like last year) the day traders are more than likely to jump in with the herd on some of the more promising situations rather than the shamefully manufactured ones where they wait for the MM's books to empty prior to pumping and dumping the unwanted dogs.

Never say never, but you'll have to monitor the trades very closely and keep on top of the action as the SP got taken down into the close with the spread a shade under 20% at that time.

Lloyds on the contrary continues operate with a significant earnings surplus and is priced significantly below its US counterparts with 100%+ SP upside available to be fairly priced in line with the average P/E ratio of the top 10 US peer bank comparisons.

Daily moving averages continue to move northwards across all measures with a beautiful chart set up playing out in text book fashion.

On separate note... its good to see some small caps continuing to run after good news just like the old days when we were seeing multi day rallies as a regular occurance.

If that shifts a few traders midsets away from sell or news spikes, and fhe MM's play ball, we might be about to see a few AIM comps do the kind of multi week rallies that we saw in the halcyon days of AIM when we had commodity super cycles

What are you guys hoping for on 88e and what timescales??

Of the Top 10 US based peer banks all are presently valued with P/E ratios between a P/E of 12.5 to a P/E of 18 with the mid point P/E of 15.25.

Lloyds is presently trading with a P/E 6.93 allowing plenty of room for the share price to put on some significant weight before it could be considered to be priced 'fairly' vs its US based counterparts.

The UK banking sector is long overdue what could be a major correction to the upside and should Lloyds SP continue the upwards momentum that has recently been seen to move toward a P/E ratio of even the most Conservatively priced US counterparts the shares would then be trading around 110p.

Even at that price, when benchmarked against its US based peers, it would still be difficult to argue that it would be overpriced at those levels.

I think that was probably towards the bare minimum expectations for results.

Forget the SP now vs historic levels.

Those big rises of fhe past were from a much much lower market cap with far fewer shares in circulation.

88e Is £ 75m market cap right now.

PANR in comparison has a market cap of 260m with a billion barrels of marketable oil and gas equivalent with oil in place estimates of between 17-23billion billion bbl

Their technical report flow rates across their 3 Wells prepared by slumberger showed

• Alkaid: IP 30 days = 775 bopd; Oil Cum @ 30 years=1.1 MMBO

• Theta West BFF: IP 30 days = 1060 bopd; Oil Cum @ 30 years=1.5 MMBO

• Talitha SMD: IP 30 days = 791 bopd; Oil Cum @ 30 years=1.2 MMBO

And PANR market cap £260m with 2 independent reports 1 showing 1 billion bbls recoverable and the other showing 1.7billion bbls recoverable out of a potential 17billion oip and a lot further advanced.

I'd be cashing in on that news.

Dai, I have only traded He1 on a couple of day trades or brief swing trades.

I think I've mentioned before that I put them in the same basket as 95% of all AIM comps

Who cares if they occasionally 10 x bag on a buy the rumour style trades.

Penny dreadfuls.... maybe... but..... timing is EVERYTHING with those types of opportunities.

What I royally fcuked up on was ZPHR.

Totally overlooked the free cash flow generation from their non operated assets that provided sufficient cash generated to commence drilling without having to raise.

Huge oversight

Although some of those non operating assets imo have less than 12 months economic life left from memory so they do need a big hit on this drill.

I think i managed to put a marker down on the syn bb around the low.

Think i almost got the hum low

Same with OMI.

Didn't get the exact low on SOLG but still happy.

Getting in ahead of the herd is a very difficult task.

I think what Tro is saying though is sometimes... it's not a bad thing to just jump in on a stock when the herd is just starting to turn up and just ride the waves for a bit if in for a quick n dirty short term momentum trade.

Guess..... that's what herd mentality is all about.

I actually think its good to have different trading strategies for special situations on small cap volume spikes.

Mentioned this morning that I thought we might get a few late in the day releases.

Looks like they were hoping to sneak that one in as folk are heading off for the holiday.

The company has zero debt

The liabilities that you are referring too on the balance sheet are simply the former miming assets that they are allowed to 'write down' in the balance sheet as capital losses and is the total aggregate ccretion of their historic asset retirement obligations from their former Uruguay mining operations that were wound down many years ago.
