Again several after hour buys now reported totalling well over £500,000. Most are at 409.5p, the day's high. Appears very bullish for tomorrow to me.

The last thing I think he was saying is that fair value could possibly be somewhere between £43 and £51 which would do me!!!!

Any suggestions as to what has caused this today? I can't see any reason for it unless something is happening in the background

Pretty much at all time highs now, perhaps forming a base for the next leg up. I am happy to continue to hold my stake here, particularly as the rumours around a takeover persist.

flex - you're right, thanks for pointing it out. I hadn't got that far into the RNS when I posted! Still surprised there is no mention in the headlines though, although perhaps given the price of gas it's not a good time for an acquisition anyway.

I am very satisfied with the RNS, glad to see cash still increased despite the large capital outlay although maybe thought it would be a bit higher. Excellent turnaround in profit, happy with that. Looks like the next set of results will be an absolute belter, hold on till then! Only Q I have really it suggests the strategy has moved away from growth through acquisitions as the focus now seems to be more on 'capital investment in our assets'. No mention of acquisitions in the RNS.

Another lovely RNS! As a long term holder surely this is going to re-rate shortly. Well done to all involved.

I really like this company, forward thinking, in a growth space, lots of potential (totally agree about the government funding for example), regular news flow and based on ethical principles. Great to see they are making good progress.

According to the presentation cash is currently at £90m, decrease of approx 10% over the last 6 months.

Today is the day we push above the 112p resistance line that has been troubling us for so long!

Results seem good, excellent cash build to £82.3m, sales down 5% but considering stores were closed for 2 months that's pretty good. MCAP only £83.63. I think this share is still undervalued.

Quite big sells earlier tooq, but another £2.5 million buy reported after hours. There have been some enormous buys in the last week but little price movement.

Well £1 million shares were recorded as an after-hours buy yesterday and another huge buy this morning, so definitely a possibility....

It's been creeping up for a while but I notice Serica now has a top rating of 99 on Stockopedia. There is only one stock rated 100 and two others rated 99 across the entire LSE and AIM markets. I guess it doesn't necessarily mean too much, but suggests everything is lining up nicely from a fundamental and technical point of view.

Hmmm, but the OP wouldn't now be faced with a situation where the share price has to go up approx 250% from today's price to break even on their original investment at 70p. I appreciate it's not impossible that that won't happen but a strategy is needed if it doesn't

I agree you shouldn't believe everything you read in books but the idea behind what The Naked Trader says is to have a strategy and to stick to it - having stop losses is something that has worked for him and the 20% is a figure he mentions but actually he recommends setting stop losses much tighter. To me, it makes very good logical sense and is definitely a book I would recommend reading.
