Fund administrators normally charge a fixed per capita fee multiplied by the number of pensioners, subject to additional incentive payments or penalties linked to the achievement of defined KPIs. A fund’s investment advisors will no doubt benefit from any increase in the value of a fund’s assets.

I doubt CPI will be affected one way or another by any increase/decrease in the value of the underlying assets of a third party pension scheme which it administers. CPI is not authorised to give investment advice, merely administers the pension payments.

I believe their charging model is a per capita member fee subject to certain KPIs being achieved. CPI merely administers the payment of pensions to scheme members and has no involvement in how the fund is invested.
