pessimist, I only dummied the offered side...........but on the sell side they would only take 1m off me at .778

actually casper just done a dummy with hsbc,normally pretty good, and they are not offering a "touch price" only .8 at best.

KR you are most prob right just putting another twist on how block sell orders and conversely buys can be worked...:)

KR not really if as a mm you have a sell order on your books you will normally let the buyers eat into your offer giving you ,as the mm, the oportunity to offer block bids to your seller at say .79. used to be a mm in the commodity markets many many moons ago but sure whilst things have moved on the principle is the same.

I think you miss the point. I have bought twice today at .795 so yes they are all buys except the one's at .77 but there is someone at the moment sitting on the sell side at .8 or just below and it's not mm's its obviously and order.

Same seller at around .8 ???? head...brickwall...lol

a bloody day but took advantage at .8 prob go lower but so f.......elsewhere got to the shut eyes stage.

Ash replied to me yesterday after supposedly passing on and basically said they were not privy to the actions of the broker but pointed out that they have been and still remain a large holder .

I normally don't follow the bb over the w/end but by chance popped in to see Marshal post,65jh been filtered for ages, and have to say that I believe you are totally deluded. Oil discovery's are getting harder to find and those that are out to sea are deeper and more costly to extract. It is estimated that oil consumption will continue to rise for at least the next 5 years or more and therefore major oilers are still looking for "cheap" oil which is exactly where the likes of wressle and wn and dare I say it Bish come in. We have had the spikes and troughs in the oil price many a time before and will so again but I would bet you if wn is productive there are a lot of other "fields" that will fold first.
