Thanks lenin for your insights and lesson in trading,some useful pointers to less experienced investors. Personally I tend to do a mixture of both with major investments(as opposed to pure trading) and have a core holding of say 90pct and a liquid trading element of 10pct-not set in stone of course and will re-act to any changes in fundementals. Your stratergy is very prudent and you won't go bust taking small profits-never a wrong thing-but you will never make the big bucks either. Each to his own I suppose.
I have been here for a long time with a biggish position and have been adding aggressively for the last few weeks and will continue to do so until as such time the sp reaches a level where the risk/reward ratio reaches my comfort zone and then will sit back and hope my but more importantly the operators judgement is vindicated.

Hfb I'm not greedy but I'll take both though hope you are not insinuating the odds on lottery and lol are the same...that would be depressing..lol

HFB so if nothing tomorrow-you were wrong, no shame in that it was always your view point BUT the Witch lied, so nothing new there. IMV don't hint at things beyond your control unless you are pretty confident.

Also I know there is no logic but round numbers (30) in this case always seem to be a bench mark and when it failed to break yesterday it may have prompted-as you say-some traders to take profits and look to get back in lower but imv has no bearing on fundementals.

It's just a term for when a share finds a new level backed up by changing circustances, say if the results for wn are much better than expected(proven) then the share will /should rise to a new level to reflect this.

Mukka I'm not so sure there will be a "spike" this time round. Sure you will get over exuberance and then some short term profit taking prior to Wn outcome but IF the final results are what we all hope for OR better then there will be a rerate to a price at which one of the big boys will take it over. IF, however, the results are........then the "spike" will not apply.

no been and will be here for the longterm just added another 3.5m assumed profit takers or fear of market in general, happy to add and hold to quite a large position.

bought a couple mil more but have I missed something some chunky sells not that I'm worried.

miker44 thank you, you put it a lot better than me. Don't get me wrong would love to see a higher sp right now ,especially as being buying all week on dips despite last Friday's "Hissy fit"

Agreed chips but in case peeps get all excited I listened again last night and she clearly says that in words to this effect...she expects to hear an update on the loi state of play.....not the signing or agreement though that would be nice!
