Delightful morning read from you and many other very renowned posters.
You have all helped keep me in GGP long term through the peaks and troughs(few) and have all convinced me that the long term prospects forecast were, in fact, viable and not unfounded ramps.
Good luck all and hold for gold- we are well on our way and we will get there with GGP and GH etc.

Whichever way you look at GGP's new JV's the conclusions can only be positive for the future.
Whilst Newcrest may become the top dog gold etc mining company GGP is firmly established as a top dog exploration company. The many mining exploration minnows and larger minnows will salivate and seek to meet this success themselves which will be extremely difficult for them to emulate.
Add to that the strong possibility for GGP to become a strong mining income company in its own right whats not to like and the long term future glitters even more.
Hold for gold if you can is still the message and ignore the nit pickers.

Overall a fairly positive case for GGP share investment but they need to spend a lot of time on this board-They would become more knowledgeable about the immediate short term potential.
True they acknowledge Scallywag and Paterson east as potentially transformational for GGP but fail to mention the imminence of results due.
The analysts estimate of an initial MRE of 3.75 million ounces could well be understated and also with further drilling updates from Newcrest due this week also the potential analysts estimates may also be higher..
Bearing in mind these pieces of news due soon no way, in my opinion, is the heat going to be taken out of the GGP share price and a fallback in share price occur.
GGP is cheap to buy now.

Now is not the time to sell any GGP.
Past history tells us that Newcrest keep to their word on any dates promised.
We have the scenario of a maiden resource estimate next month and we will get one. It will almost certainly be a restricted one as, I think, already indicated but it will be accurate for the ground indicated. There will be areas of Havieron not included because drilling/exploration etc is moving at such a pace and new areas/potential new areas indicated.
I take you back to the year 2000 when Newcrest embarked on more exploration of the established Telfer Mine (It had been running for 25yrs and had produced 6 million ounces of gold in that time). Their new material resource estimate was upgraded in 2000/1 from 18 million ounces gold from 10 Million ounces of gold with a feasability study duly completed on time in 2002 and decisions made to expand Telfer with new processing plant etc,etc. Subsequent targets were all met.
With the potential at Havieron and the excellent procedures at Newcrest next year is likely to be phenomonal- and thats before we take other prospects into account.
There will always be buyers and sellers but if you can hold for gold then do so.

Yes, a bit tongue in cheek, They have two markets, An upmarket one for organisations with Government advisers/Recommenders/MPs etc who qualify. And the sinister manipulated market that is semi reported for the rest of us - Just like the Covid PPE ordering system. Ha Ha.

My thoughts are similar but compared with size of other exploration areas, Havieron and Scallywag won the day and quite rightly so to the shareholders benefit with hindsight.
GGP may well return to EG in the future especially if they are much more secure enough financially to do EG justice. I seem to remember several other potential targets of Non gold/copper cropping up at EG also but to have investigated all fully at the time would have resulted in much to much dilution in my opinion because the area is so large.

My similar thoughts also.
If Scally results are comparable or even better than Havieron then NC are likely to be exercising their first refusal rights.
They may have said to GGP "go back to this hole and double check exceptional grades or see if grades continue even deeper" and then later "stop drilling as we want to reserve our position in order to take stock. In return we will offer a lucrative deal for you Re Scally (JV or similar).
Hold the scally results until the deal is negotiated in principle".
GGP exploration principles and forecast future prospect sizes have been without doubt proven by Havieron and will probably hold for most of the Paterson.
If GGP share price has been held back then its true value is due to be released on news.

At a current average of about .20p a fairly recent investment?
Perhaps it will not go unnoticed by other pension funds who may be running big paper losses on employee pension schemes dependent on their complicated valuation rules.
The area is a bit of a minefield to me but it is obliging of them providing this full info on their website if thats the case.
Still hurtling along towards news but a little more slowly it seems but we will get there and patience will be rewarded.

We are now hurtling towards the news due on many fronts and nothing will stop us. When It all breaks we will take our revenge and won't stop buying till the SP doubles at least. Shorters if any and the like beware.

We simply may be just waiting the confirmed drilling results to come through. If they were being held back and with GH's silence then in my experience there is a very good reason. GH was particularly quiet for a while before Newmont walking in relation to EG (guess he was trying to reverse their decision or ensuring he obtained Newmonts independant exploration report including all the information and understanding on EG that was due under the terms of the agreement) prior to the announcement being made. If he did not do this he would have "egg on his face".
With regards to Scallywag results It is most likely there are possible negotiations on several ways forward especially if initial drill results happened to be anywhere near the quality of Havieron first drill results.
We must have the patience to see this through without pressing too much. Ask yourself this-Why would GH delay poor results when he knows full well Havieron alone is the sure fire game changer and GGP could stand poor results at Scallywag?
I say you don't suddenly get poor results in the middle of a very productive region and the question is just how good they are?

Thanks to all the calm posters on here who settle any nerves that may occur with GGP shares.
I know what GGP have got and it will not go away but sometimes when markets move quickly or a little unexpectedly it tests ones resolve especially if it coincides with this board and others crashing. So many rely on the brilliant posters on this board as it's their way of keeping up with/knowing the "word on the street" in relation to the markets overall. But with the crashing incidence of lse happening so often raises concerns! Reading this board at 4am the occasional gremlins have been banished and sleep hopefully will be returned.

Always smell a rat with this site. Orchestrated manouvers re take downs to keep pi's in dark but hey ho-buying opportunity anyway.

As part of my plan to increase holdings in GGP and reduce exposure to less profitable investments in my portfolio I (like many) have now with the exception of 1 gone all in on GGP buying on the Dips. The theory, of course, is that relatively short term gains from GGP will far outweigh anything on most if not all of the others and this will happen soon enough. The investment case is being de-risked by the day and even Covid is not considered much of a threat to GGP/Newcrest.
My next stage possibly rather than top-ups will be to save my pennies to build up a fighting fund to invest in GGP before the year end to take advantage of the extra rise that is coming next year.

Early next week would be good. My feeling would be first set of Scallywag drill holes comparison with Havieron 1st set I would be looking for several intercepts at Gold 0.5 - 7.0 G/T for varying number of metres(depth).
Anything above would be exceptional.
Similarly Copper ) 0.5-2% for similar.
My expectations may be optimistic and calculations may be awry but if Scallywag is to compare with Havieron at first drills we must expect potential possibly from shallower depths on at Scallywag.
If the results were half as good as Havieron I think every one would be happy.
I feel sure we will not find dusters.

As I and others have said before Havieron is big-Very big and now still growing. It's being more recognized we are on our way to being a very big player especially with some if not most of our other prospects coming good in the next couple of years.
When the enormity of the current results sink in this will likely fly even starting now.
