Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Todays RNS illustrates the confidence that SD and the board of GGP have in the future. They must be very confident that the forthcoming six months or so will be really financially beneficial to our future to embark on such an expensive 2022 exploration/drilling program.
Secure in the fact that we will be also be greatly financially benefiting from the start of Havieron production in the not too distant future.
I urge all investors to read the further information on the 2022 Paterson exploration drill program (www.greatlandgold.com/media/jorc) which gives more detailed drill information etc about this years exploration campaign and its new targets at Swan, Pearl, Swan East,Rudall, and Pascall.
The systematic approach to our exploration program demonstrates the attention to detail that is a trademark of GGP's exploration ( first undertaken by GH and now continued by SD) that resulted in the later Havieron huge discovery.
Of course we will have the usual detractors that come out of the woodwork at the behest of the manipulators who have this share buttoned up on publication of good news but we all know we have something exceptional so we will not give it away no matter what is thrown at GGP.
Keep the faith and sink the crooks.
Nice to see a bit of upward momentum especially as we have the new board. I usually get in a pickle trying something new on the computer but I found registering easy. My thanks to BottleRocket and others. A new dimension and hopefully a new dawn for GGP.

Ruprah,
I have a very long term view re this investment albeit age is against me but others will benefit. So February '23 at latest for me is quite soon but I think the 5% will be settled well before November '22. Based on SD's assertion he wants it out of the way.

JiffyBag,
Thanks for posting the link to spoofing and the FCA slow reactions. All GGP investors particularly those who do not understand the market possibilities this should view this as it is very informative. In particular follow the link to ("see the decision notice") in Para3 of the article. This gives in depth detail of the effects of these manipulations on the market etc, incidentally it is 67 pages long but after the first 10 pages you get the drift.
It may seem that the apparent criminal behavior that apparently appears in this share trading transactions that we all are aware of fits into this pattern or similar patterns. It does appear to be increasing at an ever increasing rate and maybe more and more criminals are on the band wagon.
The travesty for ordinary PI's is that even if the FCA were able to investigate thoroughly (complicated as it is) it would take many years with no guarantee for success. Meanwhile we have to suffer the consequences if it is taking place - A ridiculous SP level with large losses appearing on previous top ups or for new investors who in the past could not believe the low price of the huge asset that we have or indeed still believe it. A lot to answer for!!
Surely the FCA must investigate/act as well as politicians, the legal profession and the London Stock Exchange and others in authority as if the scandal does exist then anarchy does exist not only in the AIM market (mainly unregulated) but in other more senior markets.
If major miners/miner organisations were responsible for the fall in SP to try and get a low-ball offer accepted then God help them .
But to all genuine investors in GGP Keep the faith. The turn around will come and quite soon.
silverhorse,
Maybe there is something in your prediction of a RNS tomorrrow with an update on the 5% or even settlement. It seems like the decline in share price yesterday and today was pure preparation for news as opposed to the usual trollers/shorters efforts.
We live in hope that this issue is settled soon with a decent GGP take on it to give us a boost.
GLA
And who will buy Newcrest after they have bought GGP. The beast is getting bigger all the time and any consortium of tier 1 miners to looking take over the lot will be salivating at the prospect of 3 mines+ and thats just for starters.
Watch out if there a further strike in the the wider Juri area or in GGP's 100% owned prospects strike.
It will take a superhuman effort by SD and his loyal shareholders (us) to keep our independence to become the Major miner he and a lot of us crave. GGP may be/are in a no lose situation since we found Havieron and when the wider market realizes the potential thats quickly becoming apparent the explosion in SP will come.
GLA and keep those golden tickets and add if you can.
The disrupters etc now know they have lost the case and can only resort to personal attacks on our top posters. That is their only option left but do not let them succeed in silencing you. They will be known in GGP history as the complete failures-luddites whatever. You are so much better than them. Do not be the decent fella that you are and filter them.
GLA and hey what a great RNS.
I hope in addition to excellent further drilling results there is a snippet or 2 that enables part 2 of Bottle Rockets interview to be aired (possibly in a further interview).
I wonder if there is good news on the decline progress and whether SD could release any info ahead of Newcrest as they have ceased their interim reporting between quarterlys!!
GGP shareholders need to be updated if significant events have happened without waiting until July 22nd Newcrest Quarterlys. If that were possible I would think SD would get clearance from or inform Newcrest at least as he has to tread carefully regarding inside knowlege releases. It could be that both report it or anything else significant ( Newcrest tonight and GGP tomorrow) by mutual agreement. I still remember SD saying about the excellent relationship we have with our JV partners.
We may get nothing extra to drill results tomorrow but at least we can live in hope.
GLA
TomE
As Ruprah has just said. The ground is being prepared to try and take the SP down further tomorrow to disrupt tomorrow evening news and upset thursdays corresponding rise based on results. They have this tried and tested method as we know but It does seem that the shorts really are worried by the recent upwards momentum and are gambling along with others maybe trying to rob us to hold back the tide- But you cannot oppose the tide of opinion and momentum once the the 5% is out of the way or whatever but thankfully first production is drawing ever nearer.
It hurts when things do not fit as they should but the only way forward is to keep the faith in the derisked GGP investment case, in SD and in our own beliefs. We will win through

Dip666,
Another fantastic summary - So helpful to most GGP Pi's. Keep up the good work along with Paddy, Bamps & others and stay on the right side for investors here.
JiffyBag,
Thanks for link. A long read but an amazing state of affairs that is certainly food for thought. What with the value of Havieron continually growing and the GGP price declining. Black Rock could be at it. Who knows for sure and no one to spill the beans.
Someone has the best potash mine (IN GB) on the cheap and still to be exploited in future. Just another thought.
Very much hope SD is on the ball in all ways to combat the possibilities however remote or not.
But for good or worse I must not lose the faith in GGP.
GLA genuine investors.
So is it an elaborate Ponzi shorting scheme. Most Pi's were holding long term so the supply of shares to the market was poor in that respect. So to generate more shares available to loan to the shorters for them to sell therefore the creating perpetual ever increasing downward pressures they seek to lower the price even more to create new topping up by LTH's at what they think is bargain prices. Many of those buyers topping up may not even know if their extra top up shares can be loaned out for further shorting purposes by their brokers. I am unsure myself even though a long while ago some posted how to ensure your share were not available for loan by your brokers. Perhaps the shorters have no intention of replacing (buying back) these shares and will declare themselves bankrupt or leave a mess for the likes of Financial institutions, Brokers and MM's etc to sort out. But in an unregulated market who would shed the tears. The FCA will do nothing to help. There is no easy check on a genuine market these days and manipulation is allegedly rife and no one can tell which cancelled trades etc have gone through proper market channels or the other MM adjustments!! but in extremes it could well backfire on those manipulators.
If this post is considered to be absolute rubbish then what does it say on the mayhem being caused by the real perpetrators of whats going on which could be NCM or other large mining companies, or un-genuine shorting companies- but business is business they say.
The gold is still there-but what is the end game? Are they trying to force GGP into a placing by delaying the 5% deal to squeeze GGP's finances for a lower price deal. Any thoughts?
GLA and keep those golden tickets and the faith that SD can win out.
Carlito22
Yes and great days are hear again. Are you reading todays superlative posts by our top posters and of course BottleRocket. So much oozing confidence. The future is still golden.

25/06/18 SP 1.30 Havieron 1st drill Hole results.
Is It Bingo? Sounds like it.
26/06/18 SP 1.46 Keep The Faith.
Long Term Hold. Result from 3 more drill holes to come. We will see extent of strike.
29/06/18 SP 1.82 Keep the faith.
It was a long slog (for some LTH's much longer) since 21/06/2016 to 6/10/17 then a purple patch until Jan 2018 (Newmont out) and another long slog until the recent first drill result at Havieron starting the next purple patch. The potential is now so enormous across several GGP projects it would be a travesty not to hold for a much longer term, GH and his few staff have done a Fab Job and must surely reap the rewards when this company is finally turned around.
I just looked back at excerpts from my posts at the time and am still holding some 4 years later and plan to hold until we are well reaping those rewards under SD in a relatively short time now.
This post was inspired by reading a newspaper reported comment today by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II that Winston Churchill was her first Prime Minister and he said you need to look back at history to see the future.
We have come a very long way since Hav 01 and todays interview with SD nicely confirms this. Our time is coming soon and no-one can deny this.
GLA.
As a long term holder of not a vast volume of shares I, like every investor here, have suffered the pain of the constant fall in sp. But we are still here in our droves. HL are advising their clients with limited shareholdings to diversify as they say its bad to have all your eggs in one basket- how wrong they are in the case of GGP holders whose golden basket is full of golden nuggets. It is that that keeps me going. You will not become a millionaire or multimillionaire to secure your or your familys future for the duration by selling out now. Just grin and bear the pain and remember the rewards are so near in long term mining timescales.
Keep those golden tickets intact.
GLA
It does seem to me that the more positive this board is (and has been for a while) the more upset those manipulating the SP become and retaliate by lowering the bid etc for no real reason by way of distorted trades information and suchlike tricks like misrepresenting the unspecified alleged share dealings. A pity we have to encounter such morons and their moron controllers.
GLA.
GGP/NCM substantiated drilling results at Havieron are impressive and the envy of most explorers/miners. Much more is still to come on that front in terms of further expansion/growth drilling in the still open areas and at depth. We may well end up with several/many Havieron equivalents in size to the original MRE's
We LTH's know the score and the possibilities of others getting hold of of GGP and or NCM cheaply using Illegal/fraudulent/or dishonest means is close to non existent no matter how hard they try. No person/organisation can continually to back a losing position beyond the allotted defined Management timelines/objectives so any threats here are bound to be short-term. Would you argue that NCM aided and abetted by GGP are not capable of bringing Havieron into production or part production soon after the ore body is reached? Roll on the year end when this will begin to take off.
GLA and add if you can and most importantly keep the faith generated by our excellent posters on this board and in our Management.
Yes you have got to laugh at it- Pity it adversly affects multitudes of decent GGP investors in one form or another and the reputation of the GGP management. Long term may be no problem but I ask who stands to benefit most from what is happening and the answer could be Newcrest if they are planning a low ball offer for the 5% or for the whole 30% of Havieron. I am sure that SD has confronted them to ensure they are not playing a game with GGP (never catch a rattlesnake by the tail) after all the past alleged good relations between us and SD seems more confident on the 5% in the latest interview. Surely Newcrest cannot be party to something so deceitful on 5% offer value regardless of the many billions of £GB or $AU that Havieron will produce for many decades? I know money is money and morals often go out of the door but that would be obscene.
SD cannot do anything personally to affect things in relation to SP and he may accept that the Lassandra Curve will play out until its time for the upturn.
I feel that other majors or conglomerate of majors are not really interested at this stage although there would be more to split between them the way Havieron is progressing at pace but you never know and it would be costly to them, but hey, someones spending a lot of money (huge amount) to keep the SP where it is.
Maybe someones trying to get back the huge amounts that went into Pi's pockets when GGP rose to 36ish pence and they are paying all the Shorters/MMs and Detractors costs but it surely must be a lost cause given never ending drilling results boosts.
Criminal gangs maybe out to embezzle shareholders across AIM because of the lack of proper regulation but they likely would get their comeuppance eventually.
We cannot know the answer for sure at this stage but at least we can be sure the case for GGP is solid and largely derisked and our golden tickets are still with us and we can look forward to the future with SD at the helm. Dec this year may be the catalyst.
GLA and apologies if my thoughts/ramblings are a little contentious or disturbing.
Keep the faith.
Just had a quick skim through the detail of Newcrests Exploration Report on Havieron expansion as a non geologist and have got to say one word, Whopper. Early days too with future decades potential.
So glad potential being confirmed despite NCM's (Sandeep Biswas's slightly low key approach. They can't hide it.
Yes, nice to see a bit of the old sentiment. My feelings are that based on the last few weeks/months of steadying the ship SP wise there are daily rumblings from below that signify the pressure cap thats been holding us back will soon blow.
GLA LTS's for when it happens
