I’ve tried to trade some US stocks this afternoon, on the sudden dip. Unable to trade anything. Tried phoning only to be in hold for half an hour. Have emailed them expressing that their site is potentially costing me tens of thousands of pounds which is completely unacceptable. I won’t hold my breath for a reply. What confidence can anyone have if the market starts crashing and your money is locked in, unable to trade? And I never use stop losses.

Firstly, great news Pompeyrod.

I’m reading all the negativity this morning and I completely understand it, especially with large sums being tied up here and others on your watch list flying. If in any doubt, though, just remove your minds from the current sp drain and re read all the RNS’s over the past year. Frustrating as it is now, there is no doubt in my mind of the outcome and possibly a lot sooner than some may think.

Most are probably fully loaded here but if you’re not, keep buying. Every penny it drops, I buy another £5k. Absolute gift right now IMO.

The drop has made no sense at all other than funds being released for the recent rally in retail/leisure. I for one have been taken full advantage and a grabbing more. There is only positive news coming out of here and once a trading update is released, which I expect to be imminent, the figures will reflect this. Handsomely.
As you say, this will be a stonker in 2021. If not taken out before....
