Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
NB. If the 0.25p warrant is available when the strike price of the stock is 10p then its value is also 10p.
aandi,
No you don't pay for it. The warrant is already yours for whatever deal you made to get it or for whatever price you bought it for. The warrants become exercisable once the lockdown date arrives which means they can then be traded on the market and typically they have an expiration date too.
A warrant is typically just like a call option but with a longer expiration date, it gives you the right (but not the obligation) to buy shares in the company before the warrant expires.
aandi,
When you exercise a warrant you don't actually pay for it. For example if your warrants are tradeable at 5.33p and the share price is 1.3p then the warrants would have a very low value, probably in the region of 0.25p and the closer the price of the share comes to the warrant price the more the value would rise. Something else that can affect the price of the warrant is if they have an expiration date on them, obs the further that is away then the more they might be worth.
W69,
I don't believe it will have any effect on the granting of the license. If anything a more centrist or center right party would be more inclined to grant the license than the socialists that are in power now.
Don't ever take LSE's posted last price as fact. If you want to know the price look in your brokerage account and see what the bid is, thats the real price.
What is this nonesense? Portugal is a stable democracy of the EU not some third world dictatorship! Its an election not a civil war!!
This will shed some light, though you are almost there:

Micky1971,
Its just an announcement that the 8 3/4% Cumulative Irredeemable Preference shares of £1 will be getting the half yearly dividend of 4.375% on the 31st of December.
''Chief executive Daniel Frumkin already has a relationship with Carlyle. Before joining Metro, he held senior executive roles at Bermuda-based lender Butterfield which was owned by Carlyle between 2010 and 2016.''
The article is in TiM and also mentions that he had hopes of taking Metro private since he became boss.
Its possible they are bidding for other sites in Portugal, Barroso isn't the only one. There are Lithium reserves also in Czechia, Finland, Germany, Spain and Austria though how valid they are I have no idea.
Given the guarantees that SAV is proffering in terms or reinvestment, cleanup, low emissions and green extraction, it looks like DA is going for the long haul.
Short term price targets are kind of irrelevant for a mining stock with a 15 year plan which only relates to the mine at Barroso. If you factor in the other leases that they are trying for and look at the PE ratio of Lithium miners (min 23 max 58), then the picture changes considerably.
Yh I have noticed this before. The sad fact is that these companies make purchases and sales using stock because they have no earnings and those shares are well under the present day asking price. So of course the holders will sell them off because they have huge % profits on them. At least they are not being dumped en masse.
Red cos peeps selling?

Not sure what date this is from but it gives you a snapshot of the association with Rio Tinto on Mutamba:

No guarantees that the permission to mine will come through, however there are a lot of signs that the mine is too important for some local opposition to counter. But the risk remains.
Resolution is imminent though, some even calling for it to arrive tomorrow hence todays sp movement.
Yeah I saw that too, it sold at a premium at that time. Never trust the colour of the trades on this site.
Phantom25
They can't buy 43 mil shares without sending the price to 25p per share, hence the pp. But it would be nice if they wanted to add a few mil more at mkt prices
