The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
I've previously raised the point with Röstin that renumeration should be directly linked to the performance of the SP - This does of course carry some risk in itself.
But at this juncture, they get paid regardless. Budge had 375k reasons last year, I'm sure that Teddy will have a similar amount of reasons to continue this farce.
Quite simply, we have a board that is completely unaccountable. And it really should be our job to take them to task. If people are happy with performance, and there appears to be a few, then it's no wonder that the malaise is allowed to continue.
Given the fact that his appointment was made public on tue 28th June, I would expect him to have had a good knowledge of his brief already?
If he can have time for directorships in other companies, then he could surely have started some form of preparatory work for us prior to his official start date?
As I've stated, 6-montha for a review or to get a handle on things is utter nonsense.
I don't really care how he connects with shareholders, but he does need to do it.
My point EricDraven, served only to highlight that there are low cost options when communicating with shareholders.
And I agree, not everyone has access to social media.
As for unsavoury posts, I have a sea of green, and therefore are oblivious. It's a personal thing, but I'm only interested in conversing with people that post interesting and sensible stuff - Whether I agree with them or not is largely irrelevant.
And fair points EricDraven... It's now August. Vardar appears to be nice work if you can get it.
Get a few exploration permits, punt yourself around mining conventions, look for your mark (Someone like Budge will do... Other people's money to burn), get them to sign up as a 'partner', and then, Voila! Easy street...
This is a small and nimble business... It should be easy to operate on a day-to-day basis. It's not Rio or Lkab... Experts have been contracted to do the work required for the exploitation licence and environmental work.
The management team are there to oversee this work and are ultimately the public face of BEM.
It's not difficult.
If these people have enough time to have secondary employment and other directorships, then Teddy should have had the time to put together some sort of interview prior to the 7th August.
In my opinion the directors, chairman and CEO have had a very easy ride from shareholders historically - That needs to change.
Of anything was actually occuring that was market sensitive, and therefore subject to an RNS, Budge could not legally have been given options, as it would be a closed period.
They are accountable to shareholders.
Maybe he doesn't feel that he needs that connect or rapport with investors? At this moment in time, he doesn't need anything from us does he?
Communication from Budge used to ramp-up considerably when he needed finance.
"The Supreme Court is the final instance for matters brought before the general courts in Sweden. The Court’s principal task is the setting of precedents, primarily in the areas of penal and civil law."
I can't find any mention of Gallok, Kallak or Jokkmokk etc. For September listing. I'll keep trying... Be nice to know an expected date.

And then if the Sami don't get their way, they'll wheel out Greta Dumberg, who'll scweam and scweam and scweam on their behalf. Despite due process having occurred.
The government loses, then so do we. It's a binary outcome in respect of Kallak.
And ironically, there are Sami on the FB page who are wholly supportive of the mine. So it's never quite so simple.
Self-styled community leaders? Who votes for them?
I would assume that it's final. However, given our experience, there may well be an appeal of the appeal, followed by an appeal of the appeal of the appeal, and if the plaintiff doesn't get their way, an appeal of the appeal of the appeal of the appeal. Just to be on the safe side.
Viewed throught the lense of the Sami perspective, it doesn't look good does it?
As self styled custodians of those lands, this shower rock up, and can't even get their own house in order. The Sami must be soiling themselves laughing.
I'm assuming that Ulla, fresh from putting the hours in at Primrock today (Saturday job), will be raring to go on Monday.
Teddy will be busy sprucing up his office/bedroom ready for his BMR interview. Fresh from whatever financial wrecking ball he's unleashed at previous companies for his own financial gain.
And Röstin, putting together more Machiavellian plans to drive the company forward for the benefit of stakeholders and shareholders (and line the pockets of the BOD).
Busy weekend all-round - Great stuff.
You're assuming that Röstin really is the villain of the piece.
His performance to date has been absolutely appalling - Granted. But we don't really know about the true underlying reasons for the sudden departure of Budge.
I think it's true to say, that none of them have covered themselves in glory; And given the deafening silence, it's probably also true to say that they don't care.
I hope Teddy has his BMR interview from his bedroom/office ready to roll-out on Monday morning.
