Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
On the taking Glen private front, wouldn't they want to kitchen sink the bad news (later this week perhaps) and hold up progressing the iron ore resource until they have the price down sufficiently to make a low ball offer.
Nonsense discussion to compare, shale oil hadn't become such a threat, renewables were less important then, times change, sentiment changes.
In 2011 it was over a fiver, from the chart about £5.20 tops?
Had there been British crew involved that would be different as it is it's about a lump of hardware. No disrespect to the foreign crew but I'm sure the Iranians have little reason to hold them.
British shipping have already been told to avoid the area, how many more countries will follow? Insurers must be getting very wary of the situation, it's bound to effect offtake from the Gulf Sates if it continues.

From todays hardcopy EnergyVoice.
"Petrofac on behalf of licence operator Hurricane, is continuing with operations at the Warwick Deep fractured basement exploration prospect, which began drilling on April 16th. A sidetrack to the original well was initiated on 21st May, which was most likely for mechanical reasons. The 205/26b-13Z sidetrack will test estimated pre-drill resources of 935 mmboe with a planned 1km horizontal section in the reservoir"

Ops update due a week today can we hang on in the 80's for another week?
Jubilee is pleased to announce that the Company has successfully facilitated the placement of all Jubilee shares held by BMR Group PLC ("BMR") with a large institutional investment fund. BMR no longer has an interest in the ordinary share capital of Jubilee. This relates to the 2018 transaction whereby Jubilee acquired 29.01% of BMR as announced on 15 January 2018. The acquisition consideration at the time was satisfied through a combination of cash and the issue of new Jubilee shares.
I doubt that CB would have raised in the recent placing if offtake at a reasonable figure was at all in doubt and the mine viable. He's a foot in each camp if he doesn't know who does? Colin has said that the value of the Ag and Ge is enough to cover the cost of the Star mining operation itself. Theres is a lot of potential here for both sides.
