There was a good question in the Q&A Eusabius which you might have missed at 17mins and 45secs.
Can you give us some idea when we might see some contract wins. We've seen some contract wins from Kier and Galliford Try. What cadence of RNS's do we expect to see between now and next results?
Alex Vaghans reply "Yeah a very good question. We've obviously made some announcements on some wins, this year, or last year which has been really pleasing. We expect to be making further announcements. Over the next 6 months we should be making announcements around Energy and the progress we are making, around AMP8, water and building on the success of the Northumbrian water win that we had at the begining of this year, and also then rail and looking at some of the projects we are tendering on at the moment and the fact that we are in the procurement cycle on those. We would expect a number of announcements to come through. I think its also.., one of the other things that we are good at is that we unlock opportunities from the frameworks that we have already secured. We've got a large number of frameworks that we have secured. We are every single month unlocking opportunities from those which we don't publicly disclose, so contracts for people like for Transport for London, for Heathrow Airport.. people like that, we are unlocking that. But to come back to your question you can expect as we come through the next 6 months to see a number of awards coming through
I managed to get an ISA top up today as I have this as one of my number one bid targets due to it being highly profitable, having visibility already over such a strong forward order book, and of course all that cash.
Very pleased with that.
Will look to add and build my ISA position and do the same with next years ISA allowance to.
I am hoping that some of the analysts participating caught the number of times the word 'undervalued' was used.
Exactly that m007j and it is an easily identified takeover target.
Can you name me any other listed company in the UK that actually makes more Profit per year than the actual difference between its balance sheet cash and its market capitalisation.
Once the results are fully digested you would expect COST to rerate higher and to become more in line with its peers.
"Ahead of Market Estimates"
First class numbers all round but the one that stands out for myself
"High quality forward work4 position of around three times FY 23 revenue."
Then look at the cash Costain has versus the market capitalisation. £164M v £188M. No its not a misprint.
There isn't sufficient volume for that Legalwolf. Things seem to be unduly skewed with only a few sells having more of an effect than lots of purchases. That I suspect will change with news and I took advantage of todays dip with a purchase and aim to add more as funds avail themselves.
It was 9.7p only a few weeks back after the Operational pdate and the Growthpoint Properties deal and nothing has changed.
Legalwolf, Chariot signed the contract for the Star Valley 101 Rig prior to PRD opting to take it from April.
Can you also take a look at Fernan's post below on finances. They have sufficient money available without Energeans instalment.
So we are just waiting on an update is imminent, highly imminent.
Well I took the opportunity for a top up into my ISA on the drop and and I'm looking at this for the longer term.
It's got the lot. Profits, Large new contracts and so much cash on the balance sheet.
If they reinstate a progressive dividend then I'd probably look to reinvest it also.
""2024 shows significant potential; we are well advanced with our core strategic projects across Israel, Egypt, Italy and Greece, and have extended our footprint with a new gas development in Morocco. As we continue to optimise our portfolio, we look forward to enhancing our position as the leading independent gas-focused exploration, development and production company in the region."
and
"o Morocco farm-in expected to complete in the coming months; appraisal well planned for 2024"
So Energean have already announced it as happening (have is past tense)and we are already a month on...
News is due. Just have to wait for completion.
I tend to agree with you Thebold.
Energean news, further green energy deals and we cannot be far off the mobilisation of the Star Valley 101 for the first of our two drills.
Predator Oil have it signed up from around the 1st April for one of their drills so it looks like we are squeezed in neatly before them.

"Executives at water companies could lose their bonuses in future if the firm they run causes environmental damage, like letting illegal sewage spills pollute a beach or river.
Regulator Ofwat will run a consultation on the proposal later this year.
Environment secretary Stephen Barclay said it was time water company bosses "took responsibility".
But some, including the Liberal Democrats, have said the proposals do not go far enough.
The party's environment spokesman Tim Farron said Mr Barclay's proposals should include banning bonuses "regardless of criminal conviction".
Campaigners and government opposition parties also said they had long been calling for restrictions on water boss bonuses.
The UK's water companies, which are in charge of managing water supply and waste water, have faced heavy criticism in recent times over leaks and sewage discharges into rivers. Pressure is growing on the UK's water system, much of which was built decades ago, due to climate change and population growth.
There has also been backlash following the announcement that suppliers planned to put water bills up by around £156 a year by 2030 in a bid to modernise the UK's ageing water infrastructure.
Last year, senior executives from five of the 11 water companies that deal with sewage took bonuses. But at the other six, bosses opted to forgo them after pressure from campaigners.
Ofwat first announced the policy in March last year, but is still to consult on whether the plan will go ahead, as well as what types of incidents would cost a water company executive their bonus.
The government hopes the policy will apply to bonuses for the next financial year beginning in April. If it does come into force, it would apply to water companies in England and Wales.
"In cases where companies have committed criminal breaches, there is no justification whatsoever for paying out bonuses. It needs to stop now," said Mr Barclay
"Tougher action" was needed to address water companies' "poor performance", the environment secretary added.
"No-one should profit from illegal behaviour."
