Thanks SB. Yet here we are, with a share price that has barely budged. The brokers reckoned £2.20 on a sum of the parts basis before the trial. At that point we had no idea how it would go, being able to load up at this stage for a similar price suggests we were massively overvalued back then (yet below broker values) or there’s a massive opportunity now. I’d go with the latter. The market being thick as mince doesn’t concern me as it allows ‘top ups’. Paper profits always look nice, but I’m waiting for the real pay day - either we get a product to the market or taken out before.

SB, comparing now against before the trial started the risks for 1 and 2 have reduced as phase 1a has demonstrated safety and some clear efficacy data. We have more cash in the bank and the data gathered should increase optionality. That leaves the thick as mince market. The share price is at about the same level as before the trial despite progress and the brokers aren't budging on their 10pc CoS. Seems like an opportunity. Out of the blue takeovers and poison pills spiking share prices by 3000pc+ suggests the upside can appear rapidly.

Gmcc, I'm in the same camp. I think it's hugely telling that someone that specialises in global drug development is casting a watchful eye and agreeing that we're nearing a paradigm shift. I think it's a collective we on behalf on everyone - however, that everyone will include all of her equivalents at the rest of BP.

Progress in the trial is clearly being followed. As she states, it's now about gathering a body of evidence from the trial. Despite what midgets on donkeyback might tell you, a single person seeing huge improvements isn't enough, but when they have enough data then there'll be some rush to licence/buy the tech. The rocket science is in the bag - just a waiting game now.

Timster, yeah that’s why accelerated approval might turn up sooner than usual. It’s not a short pivotal study, but it might be extremely pivotal for abakta’s fortunes

JT, they’ll start as soon as they get the go ahead and recruit. The parallel running is on the expectation that the approval arrives within a month or two and phase 1a is still continuing.

I think they’re trades. If they’re sells they’ve been bought and vice versa. If I were pushed I’d stretch to say 7 are unknown and 2 are buys.
