Omnestinvest/ Syrup - Very useful thanks
Following on with the entertainment from yesterday & in the spirit of a cancelled xmas & all those missed Panto's to help our BOD with the usual panto childhood reposte regarding the long awaited lorry perhaps we should all join in ----
'Its behind you !! '
On a more serious note CV is not going away any time soon & mask wearing is going to become a way of the future for quite a while so hang in there everyone - GLA & here's to a better 2021 --
Saxondale - Carry on ----- Up the Kyber without a paddle & without a clue !!
Poorinvestor - I think when they made comment about share price spokesperson must have had their fingers crossed behind their back & holding bible upside down !!@8!!
With new UK lockdowns coming & potential for higher safety standard of masks coupled with extensive rules for mask wearing --- lets hope they get production & safety certification sorted ASAP then hopefully sales should soar back to 6p+++
Porky9 - Vaccine in this case does not confer immunity hope is that when/ if you catch virus you will suffer a lesser degree of side effects & hence recover quicker without need for hospitalisation - at least that is the plan hence why some people have caught virus even though having had vaccine - in these cases think of vaccine starting a production line within the body & production in some people may take a few weeks to reach maximium production.
PM on BBC news briefing just announced that with new vaccine availability they have also found 2nd dose could be given upto 12 weeks later rather than just 2 weeks - Medics amongst us could this cause confusion between both different vaccines OR is this going to be same for both ?? ---
A point to consider for the future growth of NVCT as company AWAY from CV19 spotlight is fact WHO & other health agencies such CCD in USA have been on constant high alert for a highly transmissable virus with current levels of worldwide travel & hence potential speed of spread. CV19 has opened everyones eyes to such a future event far worse than this & NVCT now has worldwide visability, governments & health agencies will be looking for such allies in future with ability to detect & act fast ---- sound like anyone we know?? --- GLA
460,000 PCR tests conducted shown for Dec 23rd with post Xmas & New Year surges still to come sadly, hence will probably head more to 600,000 by mid Jan.
Do we know roughly what % of UK-PCR testing is likely to be via us ?
As others have recently said - Happy Xmas
On a personal note having retired several years ago from various roles in the military/ NHS & internationally , I am so impressed with abilities of nearly all on this forum & often wished I had people of your calibre working for me when I was working & especially to Q-Branch & its contributors who would have been so more useful in my military days than some of the muppets I worked with - Take care everyone & have a wonderful Xmas as you are able with your family & friends & to remember at this time peiople who are no longer with us or sadly less fortunate than ourselves in this current world wide situation.
Wilson 63 -- Good news could be with new mRNA vaccine development it could be possible to produce effective vaccine within 6-8wks however as I stated on this forum several weeks ago further bad news could be because of sheer scale of infections rate of mutations just keeps increasing --- hence either we catch-up ASAP or the virus mutates away & we find a new normal way to live with it --- Hence as we have often said sadly testing could be around for quite a while
If 15,000 tests per day in total across whole range of tests offered & we consider our PCR test used to confirm positives in say 20% of cases we would be doing about 3000 tests per day - 15,000/ week, but revenue wise once q16/q32s bought do we know roughly what OUR ongoing revenue stream could look like ?? ---
Great to see Lancet article from yesterday regarding LFT concerns, within NHS circles the Lancet & BMJ ( British Med Journal) are regarded as the best peer reviewed publications that most healthcare proffessionals would read & take notice of --- so if government still claiming they are following the science maybe Han**** should start doing so & maybe any of our READERS based in W Sussex where he is local MP could email him & ask him to explain his views ?? ---
Message to all our excellent field experts , as 'Winterplex' has been highlighted apparently as our next significant milestone in reaaching our £1bn company growth do we have much intel yet as to any sales/ contract successes ? --- GLA
