Adrian Hargrave, CEO of SEEEN, explains how the new funds will accelerate customer growth Watch the video here.
Web usually goes on a run for no apparent reason. My advice is when it does cash out what you have invested, stick the shares you have left in the bottom drawer and let them go on a free ride until the fruit machine pays out.
It also puts investors off. You would be a fair way underwater on a small drop let alone a big one. I like the look of the company though.
See, you are up already :-) GLA
Is the spread always this big?
I think we both know that shameful is the pertinent word here.
back in the green. I wonder how many private investors were scared into selling by Barclays? Absolutely shameful.
It has retreated, sadly. Looking to load some more if it goes back to $2 or lower as I believe news is being held back until Juvenescence finally pull the trigger, something we would all welcome!
Agreed and why I haven't sold a bean. GL with Portage tomorrow btw, I know you hold a few. I came close to buying some at $10 but made the wrong call as usual!
Sorry barwick I misunderstood what you were saying. Can't wait for Leap IPO, recent recruitment drive and wording of job adverts is clearly linked to IMG tie ups and suggests to me there will be a flurry of news to coincide :-)
Not quite what happened barwick. FFWD did consider selling its stake in Leap but had a change of heart when PASPA got revoked. They were actually very clever and managed to increase their stake by something like 13% I can't remember exactly, anyway it was a very shrewd move as 43% of Leap is now the backbone of the pf and we will do very well when it IPO's.
Whilst I agree with you entirely about the recent sell off of Portage it is good to remind ourselves of some of the more savvy decisions the BOD has made for some balance.
Yeah they may have been asking for too much, we will never know for sure, but the FCA announcement undoubtedly came at the perfect time for EMMAC to review their options and take a more favourable route which is why I'm not as frustrated as some there has been no update on going public. Take the time to get the best outcome is my motto although I hope they don't take too long as market conditions are very good and we don't want sentiment to change before they IPO.
P.s. In light of what has happened to cannabis stocks since the US election I would love to know the Andina's Chairmans thoughts, I'm guessing, regret :-)
Taken4aride,
Fwiw I intend to get back in when I feel the time is right but if I was holding right now I wouldn't be selling as there is limited downside from here imo and web consistently sees mini spikes which will get you 2.5+ on the slightest whiff that the CA legislature are looking at sports betting again. This is unlikely to happen until late 2023 but I wouldn't rule it out entirely as the hit to the State finances caused by Covid has to be addressed somehow, you never know, GL.
I don't think LTH's should be too worried about a few more months delay with EMMAC going public. My thoughts are that
looking back the timing of the Andina deal announcement being cancelled was odd as it was the day after US election which even at that stage looked like a Biden win which was a massive boost to cannabis stocks so I would have thought Andina iii would have been quite keen to seal the deal.
I believe the decision to end discussions was down to EMMAC as the FCA issued guidance on the listing cannabis companies bang in the middle of negotiations and EMMAC realised there was a better outcome for their business.
Good post Mat, nail on head with the added bonus of making me chuckle.
What rumour? They are just your thoughts aren't they?
I didn't even mention M&A's. I'm ruling nothing out, this is a defining period for the sector and I expect to see plenty of manoeuvering taking place.

This is a great read, what stood out for me is that cannabis exchange listed funds will be queuing up for EMMAC and a piece of the European market, all with warchests brimming from Jazz takeover of GW Pharma. Pay particular attention to last paragraph in article :-)
Why did you change olda? I seem to remember it was not long ago you said you had reached 100k shares or was that someone else?
Mat,
Quick question, do you think our old friends at Socati are involved in this somehow?
Scrap that, check this out https://www.calmdrinks.co.uk/collections/shop
If this is going to be on the scale I hope then it will be ultra lucrative and competitive.
