You’re not wrong borrowfundsfrommummy - the performance of the business needs to improve. We’ve now had a few years of declining performance. The ship needs to be turned around.

There seems to be a good flow of buys coming in following today’s RNS.

In summary:

(1) Direct to consumer sales up 36% Oct 25 to Dec 25 (compared to the same period in 2024)

(2) Blavod is now licenced to be sold in the US - watch this space

(3) RedLeg brand refresh now live

(4) A recently announced Buzzworks mandate to supply spirits which will positively impact sales/revenue

(5) Ardgowan in which it has a 10% interest (via a CLN) going from strength to strength

(6) The Blackwoods Visitor Centre which must be due to open soon

Lots of upside and the remainder of this FY up to 31/03/26 is key to demonstrating that Distil is on the up.

Great RNS today. I’m unsure why it’s a Reach RNS rather than a standard RNS.

In the news flow over the next month or so we should have an update re the Blackwoods Visitor Centre at Ardgowan where Blackwoods is distilled and also an update re exports to the US as Blavod is now approved to be sold there and also a Christmas trading update.

As one of their Christmas presents, I bought the 4 x 50ml pack of RedLeg for my grown up kids and they loved them. In particular the Pineapple and also Banana flavours.

It’s good to see the buy price tick up

It’s unusual to see so many trades in one day and a lot are very small. I wonder what that indicates, if anything of note.

It’s great to see First Equity today announcing their increased holding to over 10%.

With Cooley and Naughton, that’s 43% held by the top three holders.

With the 4th and 5th top shareholders added in, 54% of shares are held by the top 5 holders.

They all clearly see value in Distil given their recent increases in holdings.

With Blavod now approved for sale in the US along with RedLeg on the shelves of Tesco and Sainsbury’s, the Xmas trading update should be positive.

A nice start to the day and week indeed with the buying today.

Blavod being sold again in the US should have a very positive impact on sales. I agree that a new TR-1 should land this week given the level and size of buying over the last week. Today alone there was a 15m buy.

20.33m shares equates to 1% of the company. At 0.13 £78k would buy 3% of Distil. A bargain!

Nicely moving up as Roland Grain’s holding has reduced to zero.

He can now focus 100% on his very successful Ardgowan distillery which Distil has lent £3m to on the basis of a 6% annual interest rate and it can convert to 10.5% equity in Ardgowan.

I don’t believe that Roland has been pushed aside. His overall shareholding was diluted as a consequence of the last fund raise.

I suspect that Ronald can create more value by directing his available cash resources to Ardgowan rather than Distil. That’s very much in Distil’s favour as it owns 10.5% of Ardgowan via Distil’s £3m convertible loan note.

As the topic says 66.8% accounted for in the top six shareholders is very impressive and more so given that three of those have notably added to their positions over the last couple of months.

Sales of Blavod in the US will very much move the needle in terms of revenue::

With Cooley’s increased holding , 64.83% of shares can now be accounted for in the hands of the top 6 holders.

There must be an update soon re the application to the FDA for the approval of Blavod to be sold in the US. The US government shutdown will of course have impacted the time taken by the FDA to process the application.

The volume speaks for itself.

Interest is certainly increasing in this very undervalued stock.

It’s nice to see a regular flow of buys today.

Given the three very recent holdings announcements, I’d wager that a lot do the trades over the last few days which were showing as red indicating sales, were in fact buys.

I missed that First Equity have upped their holding from 7.12% to 8.11%.

Very interesting indeed to see two notifications of increased holdings in two days.

First Equity and Naughton have clearly seen the value of Distil given the Ardgowan convertible loan note, as well as the great brands Distil has, RedLeg in particular.

The Ardgowan loan note is for £3m with a 6% coupon and it can convert on a non-dilutive basis to 10.5% equity in Ardgowan.

It’s bonkers (to use that technical term) that the market cap of Distil is currently only £2.24m. It’s massively undervalued.

I made the trade today at 09:04 as the displayed prices were .12 to buy and the same to sell. The trade landed between .115 and .12 and the spread has now opened again to .115 and .12.

I’d wager that it’s an old link and if you enquired the seller would possibly try to sell you something else.

From memory the application for approval to the US authorities was made in August and they have 90 days to approve, enquire or decline. The US government shutdown will no doubt have had a delaying impact. My money is on approval in the next 4 to 6 weeks.
