Regarding Orgenesis recent announcement about having a potential Covid vaccine candidate. From the news release:

“Based on these initial pre-clinical results, a pre-IND meeting request to fast track Ranpirnase for the treatment of SARS-COV-2 has been submitted by Leidos to the FDA“

IND enabling testing tests toxicity and potential doseage for human trials. They want to get through them as quick as possible. Orgs have access to our mice.

Yes, the drug was not tested on our mice originally but as it’s developed for Covid-specific use... the IND enabling tests on the Covid-specific version will 100% be taking place on our mice.

This reaches launch we’ll get 12% of orgs income from it.

Just another string to the hemo now.

I read it’s expected w/c 6th July and UK based tech companies are one of the key focuses for the funding packages. Could give Dev a boost especially if it covers EdTech as well.

How much are ApbHC mice worth that are years in front of the competition? That allow pre-clinical testing to complete advanced safety testing and refine the doseage size for efficacy to the extent that human testing needs only minor adjustments to reach the perfect drug? Years of human trials could be reduced dramatically as phases one and two are quickly cemented due to the capabilities of the mice to relocate human immune system AND live so long. Could see only the longer term ongoing testing of stages 3/4 that are outside of the mice capabilities to vastly reduce.

I think Vlad will be rubbing his hands at the prospects of these little beauties.

Massive news this. Last night he said that vaccines based on isolating antibodies from convalescent patient blood stopped working after 8wks. This is catastrophic.

So if we can’t prevent getting it yet then it means that an antibody treatments for people who already have coronavirus are even more vital now. Take the floor Vlad.

Exactly twenty four, it’s all recorded. The app doesn’t come to an end of the vaccine.

Firstly I’ll be surprised if there is a vaccine available in October. Secondly how long will it take for everyone to have a jab? Thirdly, a second wave of Covid likely sooner (if it comes). Fourthly, people want to go back to work properly now, and go to pubs, gigs, sports games, restaurants, cinema etc quickly. CTEA sound like they’ll have the app ready in July (3wks). This presents huge value to get the country moving again ASAP. As I say the vaccine will take ages to roll out imo.
