Yes gas is steaming ahead - well ahead of the conservative numbers that underpinned Sproule's valuation. The timing (if we draw a veil over the last few years) could not be better.

An almost identical story for me Papa re RR and Z! The opportunity cost alone has been horrendous, I try not to think about it.

Best I can offer is that the sells are from a big holder derisking, or are forced or otherwise unrelated to what's happening in the business (where the very strong fundamentals are unchanged, and news is close).

Agree on plan B - but let plan A play out first. That plan is 1. partner up in order to 2. bring existing wells online and 3. test the 8 additional reservoirs and 4. build out the acreage. Go-ahead for pipeline access must be very close.

Paradox is about gas (and condensate) not oil so much, as I understand it, and the price forecasts look good. The silence suggests to me that negotiations are at an advanced stage.

Actually I think this point is worth restating - off the 'joke' subject head. Sproule used very conservative gas prices for its NPV-10 calculations, of $3.5, to achieve an already very big valuation. Today they over $4 and rising. Then there's the oil...

Agree Banburyboy. Nervous, but still bullish. A vast resource has been proven and a route to its profitable extraction demonstrated, albeit with technical challenges. Gas prices are rising - +17% this month and 50% year on year. Colin said update 'very soon' in his last interview, which i hope is sooner than 'imminent'.

A dummy sell of half that size at that time was outside the spread, down at 2.71. can anyone confirm?
