Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
one thing i have come to appreciate is the benefit of the ukdog bb..it keeps the children in one place much of the time with only the need to visit every now and then to supervise playtime..occasionally the school gate gets left open and they wonder about at bit..but the adults quickly round them up and and put them back in the playground..
sipp - you had to let some air out of the wheelbarrow tyre?....(ifonly1....your probably too young to understand old viz jokes..)
if that was aimed at me..then the answer to your question is : i think this has a higher chance of going bust than of making peeps rich..but that is only my opinion based on the evidence at the current time. we will see as it plays out..
selfish
you said "So there's no point, surely, in doing great summaries and working on extended time frames when they are irrelevant."
the value of an asset to a purchaser is directly related to the timescale required to establish cashflow from the asset. so time from any discovery to being able to produce is material to RBD regardless of intent to produce themselves or not.
yep and i think he tried to get hold of you by phone.....
so misterpositive & bob etal
you still think i can not read accounts and understand investment cases and that your insults were appropriate?
now what did i post at 07:25 this morning? oh yes it was:
"Rather to many posts about me. Surely you should all be debating your investment and the clear and present risks?
As for the insults...well don’t be surprised when I enjoy reminding you of warnings made.."
i thought our mutual friend tried to get hold of you...not one to put in writing. you could get my number and give me a ring if you want...
looks like the doctor has just arrived with some pain killers...
morning tro etal..no poster can kill a company..only point out just how serious the illness is and how much medical intervention is required to keep it alive.....which in this case is a triple bypass, two false legs and brain transplant..
remaining a little o/t (but on the basis the AM is only moving vertically at the current time does it matter?) i do not dislike dual listing but have learnt to question why a co is dual listed. sometimes for good reasons but all too often its not. anyone else feel the number of placings is vastly down since the beaufort debacle and does anyone now where the evidence on placing numbers can be found?
boyzee makes an interesting point on the cash flow statement..most of my accountancy trained mates do: cash flow, then balance sheet then P &L. i do balance sheet (esp changes), then P& L, then check my understanding in the cash flow statement....
Dno can not buy more ( about 1.7% from memory) before they have to make a bid and they can not make a bid until 4th November if my memory is corrrct.
Do I not get £200..??
3 options:
Rns with mega funding on an asset you don’t have legal title to that can also fund Copl..
Rns with mega placing
Rns appointing administrators
It all about the current funding to keep the lights on, then sorting the mess.
Balance sheets and profit and loss and cash flow statements are interlinked. Once you get the process and interlink it gets much easier ( I say has a non accountant !). I started to get it when an accountant explained “its like your own finances- p and l is your current account annual statement. Money has gone in (revenue) and out ( costs) what is left is profit..but some money out may have bought assests ( car or house deposit)..meanwhile your balance sheet is your record of assests and liabilities- so house value is asset but mortgage is a liability..both appear on the balance sheet. So in the year you make mortgage payments some of which is capital. This has to be credited to the balance sheet ( you own more of your house as the debt has been reduced), where it gets confusing until the penny drops is that those capital payments ( of the mortgage) are part of your profit for the year..( after all if you did not own a house you would have made no mortgage capital payments and gone to the carribesn instead hence spending the profit rather than retaining it to the balance sheet..( if ad was not playing poker I bet he could beat that for off topic..)
Of course I would next time ( be it Rkh or Hur or whoever) and then have a beer.
Biffa. You posted comments on Ii after the 2016 rkh agm specifically quoting Fiona’s views and johns views about sfb ( it was just after the Fogl to I recall so could have been an egm?) . I was stood next to John and Fiona prior to you joining us. After some 5 mins Sam came over and we split up as I was off for lunch with Pierre and bob peters ( whom I go back with prior to enterprise buying ici petroleum). You then reported the sfb comments on the Ii bb. I am 100% certain no other person heard the discussion in the way you reported ( which was by the way 100% accurate I recall).
I did tell you ( I recall your insults back).
Do you recall the shareprophets Gary Newman article from memory Oct 2017...? Much ****ging on here. I think I gave Gary the heads up about 24 hours before as bullet points ( he is good at writing in English !) - that was after you and more importantly Aberdeenman ****ged me off..do sorry if you did not read my posts in a balanced way..they have always been written with balance And honesty.
