Why I wouldn't topslice with low average15 Jul 2020 11:45
1) It's not binary we can mine and WK is expanding so financing could be relatively easy from here if needed - no cashflow doomsday threat
2) If you release large chunks into market you may damage rest of your holding as we try to get SP up ready for offer at acceptable premium to the buyer's shareholders
3) You'd be a fool to think shares that are going to double or more sustainably are just sitting on magic money trees elsewhere. Many that are going up at minute seem to be people vainly hoping it's the next EUA, when it's probably not and are prone to sudden retraces/spikes higher than you will see here.
4) If things faltered a little can still easily get your investment out surely
5) You are limiting your return so it's got it's own type of risk
6)
If I didn't have a low average couldn't see point of topslicing either tbh unless putting self on free ride for your own sanity or the other halfs.
Any folks doing so I think taking a wage or paying some bills.
My tactic would be buy more to help push SP up - especially if I was financially comfortable already and not using bill money.
