Of course they can, but you have people posting about them as a Cannabis stock and having small market cap. They are not a Cannabis stock and having a small market cap means nothing.
I'll set up a company with cannabis in the name and talk about maybe bringing some product to the market. Does that mean everyone should pile in because of that and having a small market cap?
Utter nonsense on these forums spouted regularly (not saying you).
Not even comparable to Peugeot this one, but I get your point.
Looks like this company are just trying to jump onto the CBD hysteria bandwagon. This is a small financial services company. They see the clamour for stocks with any remote link to CBD and mention it and hey presto, their share price rockets.
Well done to anyone who got in early enough to make a few quid. Real risky one this.
Biggest waste of money this one. Be careful all.
I assume the shares in issue figure will be updated any day now. I am sure I read that the additional 121 million shares would be added today or tomorrow.
Also, excuse my ignorance, but what about the Pegasus Pirouette Capital involvement? Why does it state it is a CFD on the paperwork? I noticed that they have only been in existence for a matter of weeks.
Good luck to anyone involved with Cellular Goods. They look like a classic pump and dump story. I think the oversubscription is based on the hope that the share price will fly like KNB and the early investors can make a good profit.
After all, Cellular are basically a skin care company without any products yet. They are not medicinal in any way.
I cannot see why there should be any excitement about them, other than a quick buck.

I think some people are misunderstanding me here. I do think CLP has potential. Just not going to rocket like ARB.
Francesco is a very intelligent and capable guy and is pushing the company in a different direction which looks promising, although still with risk of course.
When the next crash comes, it will be the likes of Tesla and ARB which will drop to their real value, but they should still be ok. That's when the smart (and rich) investor steps in and snaps up some bargains.
Good luck all. I am not trying to bad mouth CLP in any way.
60 BTC a month! They were initially talking about 25 a year (Francesco's words). ARB (miles ahead of CLP) mine about 80 a month and they are ridiculously over valued (anyone can see that).
I think Francesco is more interested in the potential of Blockchain technology than BTC.
I am just stating the obvious. Nothing I say will affect the share price. Only really sizeable trades will do that.
CLP are heading in the right direction and do look like a good longer term investment. However, they are no ARB. Not even remotely close. So if anyone is lumping in hoping for an ARB style transformation, think again.
Also, although ARB are a very switched on company and excellent at what they do, they are absolutely ridiculously over valued on share price (like far too many shares just now). They own some cryptocurrency which is currently valued in the low ten of millions, but have a market cap of nearly 1 billion. The market is heading for a crash and the bubble will burst big time for many and these are the type of shares which will crash back to realistic valuations. The most well known being Tesla. They should be trading at about the $50 level at best, but lots of rainbow chasers believe all the hype. You would think Tesla had the sole rights to make electric cars judging by their share price.
All I am saying is be careful out there. CLP have potential, but it is longer term and still a risk. Don't believe a lot of the tripe on some of these forums.
If (if) CLP don't own any bitcoin yet, then what relevance is the fluctuations of bitcoin?
I definitely think CLP are heading in the right direction. I just don't think it has much to do with BTC. That's all.
On a cautionary note (not related to CLP), there are screeds of shares which have rocketed in price since November time, many of which are based on dreams (which may or may not turn to reality) but many people are going to get their fingers burnt. Just be careful out there.
Only time will tell.
Good luck to all.
I agree. I can't see how bitcoin can succeed long term. It looks like it will be one of the biggest bubbles to ever burst. It is effectively a commodity with no intrinsic value. It is all speculation.
Crypto currencies may well in some form be the future in place of FIAT currencies, but they will have to be readily and easily available and will hold minimal value and bitcoin won't be the answer. If you can make money from bitcoin just now, go ahead and do it, but it is not long term.
Re the Story investment. He will still be in a position to make some return on his investment in the not too distant future, as the business seems to be moving in a better direction and remember, he has been involved with other companies which folded. Investing money doesn't make it a success.
However, I still don't get the bitcoin angle. Even if CLP magically mined hundreds of bitcoin overnight, which of course isn't happening, it is not worth hundreds of millions of pounds.
Take care all.
The CBD stuff is insignificant. The only big money in Cannabis is from selling it to smoke, which is of course illegal. Or, using it in a medicinal drug/treatment (the real big money).
Sleep/relaxation oils etc are ten a penny and already available and not a huge market with lots of competition.
There is way too much hysteria on some of these boards. I keep seeing the same sort of hysteria over the upcoming Cellular Goods share debut. It should be a classic pump and dump story. It's basically a skin care company with Lab made CBD. Again, these products are ten a penny already and I may be wrong, but I don't think Cellular Goods even have any products yet. I think they are using the IPO money to get products into the already saturated market.
Be careful out there!
I don't get the excitement over BTC. Do CLP even have any BTC? It is getting very expensive to mine and some companies (like ARB) are buying some instead of just mining them. They have over 500. CLP are just talking about partnering with others to mine it, so they wouldn't even get the full value and the clock is ticking. All they have is a portacabin with some 'old' computers in it just now. It is like when people were piling into EVE shares recently because of a link to Cannabis products, when all it amounted to was a potential part share in a venture selling relaxation oils, which are ten a penny. Hence, the shares dropped right back again when the hysteria subsided.
