Yes it does beg the question as to why there has been no statement of any description from the B.O.D..That in itself answers the question of the disastrous fall of the share price.A total disregard for us shareholders from the B.O.D.seems to be acceptable to them and gives the impression that they are not accountable to anyone,a sad state of affairs indeed.
Everyone seems to be getting their flippers in a flap at the moment, whilst i appreciate a humorous and light hearted post like anyone else,we seem to be sliding into behaviour more akin to a hyena pack, nipping and biting from all directions to bring down the foe.Let it go,yes and no will never agree to be the same,so why taunt each other and prolong the unwinnable argument. I have my own personal opinion with respect to the board of directors and i have expressed it on numerous occasions and i have had pro B.O.D.posts stating that my assumptions were wrong!,Well thats what its all a bout, debate. So away with the laughing gas,and hopefully we can look forward to the long awaited update from the B.O.D.
Where are THEY going wrong is more to the point!,in my opinion there is a total lack of transparency, urgency and accountability from the B.O.D.,irrespective of events surrounding the profitability of re-opening the mine they seem incapable of moving the project forward. We shareholders deserve better.
Thats the good news, the bad news is our B.O.D.seem to have gone into hibernation,no news,no communication nothing. The rising zinc price seems irrelevant to the situation until we are given some indication of what the intentions of the B.O.D.are. Poor show,Very Frustrating.
Let us hope the New Blood arrives Quickly while the patient is still Alive and can still be resuscitated. All Smoke and Mirrors in my opinion,Bluff and Bluster, and nothing concrete, and of course for the umpteenth time a thank you for your patience from Mr J Kearney.Poor show we deserve better.
Your post sums it up nicely Divermike,i dont think Bill is geared into very very soon, more of a old man river just keeps rolling along type of guy. What we need is a Mr Motivator, someone with a Spark and a lets get the show on the road attitude, and a clear vision for the future.Sadly we do not appear to have that mindset driving us along at this moment in time.
With the rise in zinc prices,we should all be doing cartwheels and popping corks, after all we own a zinc mine dont we!. Alas it doesnt appear so,no motivation,no positive action, and lack of communication from the B.O.D.are dragging the share price down to its knees. New Blood Required,URGENTLY.
It would be a great pity if the information and knowledge of modern mining techniques supplied by Southwesterner in his most recent post fell on deaf ears.Surely if Bill Hooley is unaware or reluctant to employ methods currently used across the world ,we deserve an explanation as to why far greater costs and time scales would be incurred. It could of course just be a case of old dog new tricks, either way something doesnt seem right.
