Correction....has been updated again.....circa 4.2 Million shares traded today......

To put into perspective the big trading day of the year - 14th Oct for annual results circa 2.5 million shares were traded. On a drab, no news, cold Tuesday....circa 3.85 Millions shares traded........something material is going on.....GLA.

We await the RNS for the material update or Mark Kleinman from Sky news.......

All opinions are worth considering until the point they are not.....

£16 factually was the SP a couple of years ago. Do I believe the MCAP today is worth that...no. I have set out that I firmly believe the SP today should be £6-£10....but patience is the key.

But I firmly believe the fundamentals of Yougov are very strong. What other company has circa 30 million of data which is super rich data and not binary built over literally decades and are not reaping the commercial benefits....None!

I work in the M&A financial services sector and have a very good idea what is attractive....and I personally cannot believe Yougov have not been approached for a takeover at these prices. Their USP is a red alert for US companies in my opinion.

Can you imagine how a big social media company could commercialise the data....without spending decades building up the data....that is the key reason for acquisitions and Yougov's USP.......acquire at a premium cost as opposed to spending decades, .millions/billions trying to acquire the same data.

Anyway I am going to put a call in to Elon and Sam Altman in terms of how we spin this data and make billions within the sex industry :) GLA

Some good posts on here recently. My own view:-

The results were good (revenue and profit strong and positive) and the strategy for the next 12 months is excellent.

Data is king in this world and Yougov have 30 odd million rich data sets. The price of that data for me alone in the market place is HUGE. They need to commercialise the data better is the next phase. You Shopper is one strand which should transform their profits by breaking the US market.

The MCAP just does not reconcile for me, it should be in the range of £6-£10 currently. The SP was circa £16 only a couple of years ago when the revenue and profits were much smaller but growth was higher.

The hedge funds have really manipulated the SP in recent times given the low volume which is unfortunate but guaranteed that cannot continue indefinitely...its just a question of when they exit as Yougov factually is on the up from a revenue and profit perspective and that does not reconcile to a hedge fund shorting strategy long term.

Given the tiny MCAP.....For me a significant event is on the table currently....either an acquisition by a third party at a big premium or re-listing in the US.

With this one if you can be patient I am personally very confident you will be rewarded handsomely. GLA

Agree with the comments. I hope PI's have been loading up at these prices. From my perspective these are bargain prices. The hedge funds have had a field day manipulating the SP given low volume. But if PI's focus on the recent RNS's they clearly set out what is expected next Tuesday. Expecting good results on Tuesday. GLA.

Totally agree burgeseb.....low volume and shorters are trying to manipulate in advance of results. Previous RNS's are the key benchmark for an idea on results come mid October. They will be good. Great opportunity for investors to load up at a cheap price. GLA.

LWHL....constant sniping....that would mean continuous right? I think you mean I called you out for forecasting 230p the day before results and then on the day of results not being able to interpret the RNS correctly and believing it would not be a positive impact.

If your strategy is working for you....whatever it is....smug & great! But if i scan the board and you are posting nonsense...I will call you out :)

LorenzoLynch.....you are one of the few informed posters on here. The lack of understanding from the majority of posters is predictable unfortunately. But thankfully nothing on these boards moves the SP.....what moves any SP is facts, fundamentals, trading updates, sentiment, economic environment etc.

Admittedly I made some trading mistakes years ago....but if you do not learn from those mistakes and keep repeating then you are in a doom loop and should be sticking your money on the roulette tables! As you say trading only works if there are winners and losers and realistically the vast majority of posters are breaking even or losing.

I have no doubt that the value and MCAP of Yougov is materially undervalued and will be acquired if it does not re-rate....either way long term holders will cash in. For me, outside of a couple of 'no brainers' on the FTSE....the big opportunity stock market is the US markets, particularly over the last 24 months. GLA.

MCAP far too low.......either a rerate to levels above 1000p over time or Yougov will be bought. GLA

Stumpy and LWLH.....you need to give your head a wobble....kitchen sink and 230p....what planet are you on. You guys have zero idea and why these boards are of no benefit to PI's. It was black and white from the previous trading RNS the trajectory.

£14 million of savings already delivered and YouGov expects strong reported revenue and adjusted operating profit for FY25, reflecting the full year impact of the CPS acquisition. Extremely worrying and shocking that the basics of an RNS cannot be interpreted correctly. GLA to those invested.

Who would have thought a short attack on 2 consecutive days by the same 2 hedge funds....COINCIDENCE.....mmmm.....in conjunction with PI's then taking profits as the SP falls has resulted in the current SP. What is the hedge fund game.....are they sticking or twisting pre results on the 5th August??? Big opportunities from my point of view for PI's.

Qube increased in advance of exiting entirely to try to manipulate the SP below 400p....

400p will definitely be cracked and then we trend to the next big number 500p etc etc.....it is one of those surreal quirks of trading that investors go funny when they see in the side mirror a big round number....personally have never understood it....but a concrete fact of trading. GLA

Good news.....Shorts now down to 1.97% after Qube exited....0.71% gone!

Qube are merely trying to curb momentum....when it goes over £4 it will trend towards £5. Citadel advisors reduced their short position the day before.....GLA
