It makes a lot of sense to cut out some of the 'dead wood'. By removing the expense of retaining non/very low profit making stores, the savings can be directed elsewhere to help enhance the business. The season for outdoor activities is almost upon us and started for some. Walkers do it all the year round (car sticker!), but as a hardened camper myself, I only have one week at end of season, (no kids about). I only do the UK: Wales or West Country, but having my own business (sole trader), time is at a premium. The girlfriend and I rent a luxury 'Log' in Devon, whilst me and an old school mate do the camping.....big tent each! Two guys in mid fifties in the same tent may get people talking!! Don't want that, now. However, These chaps should do ok looking at past charts although it could be a fairly lean summer with all that's going on, and the competition. If the company is sure footed with good working capital, they shouldn't have too much trouble, but they still need to plug away and work hard, which I' sure they are doing. Some Co's become complacent with 'plenty of money' to hand, and if it all goes wrong, then Admin! I wish these fella's all the best for the summer. If you buy these shares, as I have, don't forget to sell before end of seaon, at a peak, if we get one. GLA , always here or on Jessop (JSP) as I am in Photographic, and bizz is a trifle slow at present. It's the wretched Internet...too many people doing the same thing. Mucks up the High Street a bit.
