that people come on this board willy-nilly and spout unsubstantiated comments about something they know little or nothing about through either over endulgance or sour grapes because they have felt hard done by. There is enough evidence in ALL the RNS's for people to read to know the content is genuine and meaningful with regard to the Boards assurance that they are doing their best to make it work everyone. These strange names that appear out of the blue just want to discredit the share maybe for their own ends or just mallicious posts so that they get some sort of personal gratification to watch a share plummet and upset others. However, it was courteous of those responsible to apologise and take a step backwards just to see how much work is being put into ASTA for the benefit of all, including those posters that have the opportunity to become part of our happy band on this friendly and constructive board. I wish luck to those who have retracted posts who will always be welcome with sensible input and will equally so, reap the benefits of the work that some people on this Forum do so that we can all keep upbeat and positive, even if we have a few bad 'sectors' now and again! Take a look on Wikipedia Scalping (trading), it will explain how a spread works and why. The in-depth of Stocks & Shares and Market Making is complicated, so don't try to understand all of it. It will do your head in! It's easier to fly a Light Aircraft and learn enough to get you up and down, (I've done it!) Basic trading is fairly easy to grasp, but unless you are an accountant or do this all the time as a 'Hobby', I wouldn't bother!! I don't, but I like to understand a few why's & Wherefore's. Hiope next week brings forth something better. Breaking the 2p barrier shouldn't be too hard, 3 - 4p more so unless we are furnished with something we can all get our teeth into.

Good post. My thoughts were similar that if he is out there Deal Hunting, he won't just knock on one door but several, so I would reckon that whatever he has come up with, may be told in the next RNS. However, if there was say, 3 'deals', they won't all be mentioned in the same RNS but spread over, otherwise it may 'damage' the Share and make it soar to quickly but equally so, drop like a stone later. Snippets of very good news will have this share assume a good steady climb with less sharp retraces and opportunities to top up. Now is the time to buy.

That all makes for quicker results that eventually manifests itself in large Blue numbers up above. Just what we all like to see! That was all in one of the reports just recently which is a nice reminder and all 'Grist to the Mill'. And the running costs for all that gear is nothing apart from buying in to a/the JV for all the benefits of said gear :)

Yes, I realise that as it's an investment company that won't litteraly be an Exploration company. Too small. So, if for example you have 'X' product which you have bought which you (and I) know will sell well, then I come along with a pocket full of cash and suggest a JV to help forward your business potentential and you say, OK Photo, 30/70, you do the Donkey work whilst I help fund it, so I know that costs will be low. If for example your idea is poised to take off you can ask me for more money to increase your Peanut sales, I will then get funding from elsewhere (like the share issue) and hand over more cash for more gain. You buy a new car and my gain is not as good because of less input into your business, so I'm left hanging on for a result for longer. Maybe a bit like here? Anyway, I have just averaged down to 2.3p so lets hope It doesn't cock up!

Someone warned me about massive dilution which was also in my mind, considering what these guys want to achieve. Any money may be made here early on before we hit a point where it will stick and stagnate for some time as each tranch of dilution comes this way. I have my doubts that 5p will come for some time UNLESS mega news hit's this desk. If it does, I'm out for the wait for the next dip. I know it sounds a bit pessimistic, but in reality I think this will happen. With the way things are going and the huge potential in Mexico, it's easy to be deluded by 10's and 20p's but not for a very long time. If you look at what other oiler's have achieved overtime, then this one, you will find that many which have been going for ages (ie. Sound and Solo), are still quite low. Sound is much better recently but SOLO only hit c1.75p ish since 2009. Maybe we are on a better footing here but don't hold your breath.

I believe you are right. In my mind, I am thinking that all this drop is in preparation for several lots of decent news coming along very soon. Because it Spiked so quickly and very high, the Market Makers ran out of shares and they know full well that this share will gain some serious momentum following Stefan's return. In addition, the more fingers in more Pies means that news will flow from several angles as each 'deal' starts to move along. We won't be short of info. and this price should (SHOULD), rapidly move North. It was suggested that Placings could be months away, but I doubt it. The more deals done means more costs involved, so I think that will will see an issue of shares much quicker than you think as it will form part of any contracts secured but issued at a later date.
