I may have to plagiarise your words Goofedagain!! Are you sure you’re not Warren Biffet?
The best board out there!! Sponsored by Carlsberg I believe?
I'm posting this again as my original post appears to have been deleted? Apologies if it appears twice for you.
I see I am in the minority of one here and that's fine, it was just a thread for discussion. If I may, I will leave the conversation with these thoughts.
Shellguy, is that the same minister which would have been involved in the following: Coho supplying the T&T gas supply by November 2020, then January 2021, then the pipeline being laid in February 2021 and is now saying that Coho and Cascudura will be on in Q3 of 2021. So far that's not the best track record of delivery.
Simon, agreed, Coho alone will not be game changer for either T&T or TXP, but it would have been very nice for TXP to have the money coming in to our bank account. The delay will only be detrimental to our SP I feel.
As always guys, respect to all. Just chatting with you trying to share my thoughts and get some feed back. You know my position on the Mighty TXP.

Alligator, I’m not trying to get house points by claiming to have said that I thought there would be a 15p drop. You’re correct, I didn’t say it here on this board. I don’t write everything on here that talk about. Yes, I am super positive about TXP & PB, always have been. Not sure of the point of your post other than to claim I didn’t say something in private? If that was the point, point made and taken.
I don’t agree with everybody though, I can’t see how a fairly lengthy delay, even in the grand scheme of things, can be seen as okay. Especially when we find out from a third party posting on this board and not from TXP.
Still positive and not selling. Just trying to have a conversation with fellow investors.
As we all know, I'm a big PB fan and I am very grateful for the life changing money the TXP team have generated for me and my little clan. If PB is a Captain of Industry then my own working achievements have me waiting for the bus to take me to the recruiting station.
However, at the risk of becoming boring and repetitive, I cannot get my head around the pipeline deal. TXP handed total control to NGC. Trying to relieve my irritation/bewilderment on the matter, I have talked on the phone with a well respected poster from this board. I also read here and I seem to be the only one that is 'overly' concerned by this fact. I can't remember anybody else voicing an opinion that made me think 'I'm not the only one'.
Now this situation with minister saying Q3 for Coho, whether he was correct or not, something doesn't sit right with me. It's a pipeline through the jungle they have to be able to lay that without too much Covid risk. Especially as T&T are so desperate for our gas......
It just seems that in order to sign the 'biggest deal' TXP will ever sign, we've lost control the one thing that made TXP so amazing. Namely, our 'world class assets' We can have all the gas in the world but until we get it out of the ground it's worth about as much as me waiting at the bus stop....not a bloody lot.
If the pipeline is commenced in February I would expect a lot of 'there you go Photo, do you feel better now?' Understandably. For now though, I am feeling a little bit disappointed by the handling of the TXP world class assets by TXP themselves.
Let's hope BP play nicely and give the testing equipment to us, their direct competitors, at the beginning of February.
After PB's presentation I said to a couple of people that I felt we would drop 15p on the back of it, I was wrong, it's more than that now. I hope that February brings the news we would all welcome.
Make no mistake, I'm still a happy holder of the Mighty TXP but my niggles are festering if I just wanted to air them here.
We seem to be waiting on everybody at the moment. BP for the test equipment, NGC for the pipeline.
I didn’t get a response from TXP asking about the Coho Q3 delay mentioned by the T&T minister. I would have thought that if the minister had mixed up Chinook and Coho he would have put that right by now. It’s a fairly important point if he was wrong and it’s a fairly important point if he was correct. Bad form for the customer relations team in not responding in my opinion.
If you are right, Jorgen, imagine the public relations team at TXP this morning getting my email containing the link from Praiser, saying Coho is delayed. I bet their faces are a picture over their morning coffee!! A lovely image in my mind.
Possible I guess, Jorgen. It would seem very strange that a country so desperate for gas would delay yet again. I know Covid is a pain in everybody’s hole but if a government, their country and its wider economy need gas, and it’s there in country, they must be able to make a plan to get a pipeline through an uninhabited forest laid?
All very strange to my mind I have to say.
Email sent, let's see what they say in reply?
Hmmmm......so COHO might get another delay? It would be nice if PB could update us about this very very soon. I might email TXP now actually with Praiser's link.
I so like that phrase that I thought to add the following. Eons ago I traded a company called Encore Oil. I made good money every time they found a new pooled oil. I bought and sold all the way up to £1.48? However, if I remember correctly, I think I worked out that I would have made more money just staying put from my entry price of 15p and riding the peaks and troughs.
The same is happening here with TXP. We are riding a lovely rollercoaster this year, we are just currently on a downward part of the ride.that will happen of course. Personally, if I had tried to trade TXP I know I would not be in such a strong position as I am now.
Here’s to a bright and profitable future!!
‘Time in the market, not timing the market.’ I like that one.
Welcome Lauders. Go to JOG's webpage and check the presentation video on their home page.

Reminds me of the way it climbed when we made such wonderful profits a couple of years ago. Very confident in my holding here. Good work Mr B.
On the subject of equity raises and this isn't another AIM company ramp. I'm in TXP and in February & November 2020 there were two raises at 40p and 98p or thereabouts. The BOD of directors are excellent and not many LTH had an issue with the raises as we knew that the BOD had the shareholders and the companies best interests at heart. Today TXP is £1.62. If a raise is done for the right reason then it is only a positive thing.
Aandi, thanks for the excellent posts, most appreciated.
Did they put forget to put a UK plug on?
Dana, I did respond to your first message. I need you to call me as I’ve lost a number of contacts and yours is one of those. Tech issues. I’m free about 2pm onwards.
Correction - ‘ It’s good to be on a board like this one, knowing that you can ask a question and not get shot down as being a numpty or accused of being a holder who sold and wants back in at a lower price.’
Plus...
As Dana states, the T&T government has secured thousands of local jobs on the back of the contract. I hadn’t thought of that.
Hey Dana, hope all is well. Can you call me please, had a nightmare recently with my recent contacts as you may or may not have noticed from my FaceBook. Modern technology....it will never catch on.
