I'm pretty sure in a recent podcast interview Gil stated between Aug and Oct this year for Gazania-1 spud.

In today's RNS Gil stated, 'In addition, we will continue to further build our corporation to offer additional exploration catalysts as and when we believe these opportunities will be value accretive to our stakeholders.'

Any guesses as to what's next? Harel, you mentioned Kaieteur previously and that sounds very plausible especially with drill decision next month. Perhaps a similar size deal to the one we did with JHI. Perhaps we take a few more shares in JHI ready for the next Canje campaign or maybe we'll bid for some of the acreage between Demerara and Stabroek in the upcoming Guyana offshore licence auction.

I agree 100%. ECO is top pick all day although GBP looks worth a few quid at the current market cap. Pancontinental has gone up 6 fold on the Graff and Venus news and their highest COS lead is lower COS and smaller than GBP's best prospect Marula. Pancontinental is in the Orange Basin though, which obviously helps. That said, it sounds like GBP's target is the same play type as Venus and Graff with the same type of trap at the same age and with the same source rock, if a distance up the coast.

Let's hope Riocure doesn't do a 50:50 swap with TLW on Orinduik. LOL

Will be interesting to see how Africa Oil gets on when TSX opens at 14:30. They are mid-cap and have a 6.2% stake in Venus. They were up 25% at one point yesterday on the rumor. GLA

If GBP already had a plan to place the price was probably premised on the assumption that one or both of Graff and Venus would be dusters. Given the stonking results have smashed all expectations I think management should just let the stock re-rate first before raising funds at a higher level. The fact the net current asset position is about 1/3 of the market cap means they should be able to wait and do this. Of course a placing could allow some in before a massive re-rate. GLA

Yet you're so bullish on TRP whilst their net current asset position looks around minus £2M and GBP's looks around plus £2M. TRP OilR farm out deal failed and now the Beluga deal is way overdue. GBP seems a much cleaner proposition IMO, though hopefully they both do well.

They should be doing it at a higher market cap.

Just market turmoil on Ukraine issue. When markets realize conflict is confined to Ukraine I expect it to shrug it all off and rebound hard and oil will stay high. Riocure has a 60% stake in Block 3B/4B, so we are waiting on their move.
