So why no flow test? It wasn't because winter stopped them, it was because they couldn't get the stimulation to work properly. It was only supposed to take a week or so yet even after 3 months of trying they only managed to recover 20% of the stimulation fluid. What a complete joke!

88E? At �140M market cap? Likely a case of out of the frying pan into the fire IMO. Won't be surprised to see a big collapse there too. Icewine#2 has so far failed to flow back even a quarter of the stimulation fluids.

A quality post as usual Zengas. However, over the last 12 months SAVP has been a very poor invesment. Had it not been for the 7E deal I reckon I would be about �50K better off already. Additional profit going forward from here is hardly the point as investors can buy in now just off the lows if they want to benefit from the 7E deal.

Reserves? You mean prospective resources. EOG only has reserves at Crosby Warren, West Firsby, Whisby-4 and Wressle totalling 2P 0.4 MMBOE.

That was also my interpretation. With P50 largely remaining the same while the Pmean has increased, this is due to an increase at the upper end. My guess is this is probably due to the rapid increase in newly mapped area of the fan structures as you move a little further down from the crest, which ties in with the increase in fan size comments. Although it may be more robust to add Pmeans, we still have to consider each field separately. If Pmean was so important, why does the industry quote 2P reserves and 2C resources on official reports instead of meanP and meanC? This alone should tell us that Pmean is not the key figure. It seems to me the metric only gets used to make prospects sound bigger and more exciting than they really are.

however, if we look at the P50 figures not the P mean(ingless) ones, the increase has actually been much smaller. Beckett P50 increased 79% from 424 to 758 MMBOE, Wilde P50 increased only 1% from 239 to 241 MMBOE and Shaw P50 actually decreased 1% from 198 to 196 MMBOE. The overall P50 has increased from 861 to 1195 MMBOE, an increase of 39% and not 93%. Why no update on the COS figures? Still positive though.

ECO is right in the heart of a proven hydrocarbon mega fairway in Guyana, which IMO massively derisks ECO and is why I see a big rerate on the cards. CHAR on the other hand is in Namibia only, where apart from the Kudu gas field, the water has yet to yield anything. That plus the recent duster and placing are why CHAR is very cheap on a risk reward basis. Sentiment there is in the gutter which is a good buy signal. Both stocks offer good value for different reasons so I'm happy to take some of each. GLA

CHAR is not a good example. Their next drill is 261 MMB net recoverable to CHAR with 29% COS. Also, their market cap is �29M not �40M, of which around �22M is cash, so you are paying only �7M for a go at 261 MMB with an excellent COS for an exploration drill.

Quite usual for the a SP to play dead with little interest just before take off, especially in such an illiquid share. If the SP starts to move, the buys will pick up very quickly IMO.

That or 30p. L2 looks very strong at that level and it's basically the Africa Oil entry price.

The market for the shares seemed similarly dead when it languished in the low twenties at the end of last year, but that changed all of a sudden and the SP marched to 41p. Don't see why we won't get a re-run especially with positivity in the sector of late and major news due. Good CPR, Total farm-in, thiid party drilling in Namibia and new Exxon Guyana wells.

Well it was the price Africa Oil paid to get a big chunk of the company and they felt it was materially undervalued at that level.

Surely the SP has to pick up once last chunk of 3D arrives and they spell it out via RNS that the CPR is imminent. Got to be 35p in a flash. Yawn.

Last batch of 3D is due now and CPR in 2-3 weeks yet we languish near 4.5 month lows. LOL

Meanwhile, with with work on 'where's the oil flow' Icewine #2 resumed, 88E is merrily at �138M market cap. It's a discovery you know. Farce markets.

exposure to Wick and Colter than any of its listed peer, RBD (much higher market cap in relation to net barrels), UOG (Colter only and no other drills, small exposure for market cap) or UPL (Wick only and no other drills, but decent exposure). If UPL drops further I may be tempted to add there, but other than that I can't see any reason to not concentrate firepower completely on BOIL.
