TLW also looking to farm down exploration assets. I bet we can guess which one and don't expect we'll have to wait long. Should light a rocket under this.
However the producers failed to really sell off as WTI and Brent collapsed the last few days yet are rising nicely as crude recovers. Suggests they are wanting to rise from here.
A few of the much more illiquid junior oil producers are also starting to move back up today, which is a good sign we may indeed be turning the corner - PTAL, JSE, KOS.
All I will say is that in previous huge dips over the past few years the price movements have made it very hard to get in at the bottom and it's probably better to use longer term charts to judge an entry point rather than try to finesse it too much otherwise you will likely get whipsawed out. Today looks like the first up day from the secondary bottom for a lot of oil producers so I opened a few positions. Hopefully I have the cajones too hold over the gaps and retracements over the next few days to higher prices on the other side. GLA
My timing has also been horrendous the last 2-3 weeks. Doesn't help being an investor rather than a trader, but still the financial markets are a bit crackers at the moment.
