Which is particularly ridiculous given the tincy-wincy market cap here. I far as I can see ARK is the only gold miner on the LSE with a smaller market cap than ERIS and they have a lot less cash. With a tiny market cap and UK gold news starting to flow I can easily see this reaching £8M market cap or 20p very quickly.

Really good background to the story so far in Guyana with some excellent maps. Lots of drills lined up for WTE.

Given the location and number of drills on offer the silence here is astonishing. Given our small indirect interests in the blocks I think many investors have written off WTE without even bothering to work out out exposure to the astonishing Guyana oil fairway. When you work it out WTE's exposure to this hottest of oil plays actually amounts to a large chunk of oil for a company with such a small market cap. The BOD might do well to present a list of P50 and COS figures for all of the targets on all of our licences noting the net P50 to WTE. Perhaps then the penny might drop. Even I didn't realise about the Suriname licence. As the drilling campaign unfolds I fully expect that the majority of targets will hit oil this will be well north 100p. Big drill campaign, Stabroek mega trend, mostly Exxon operated. Bring it on.

Well Scout, since gold passed $1921 and silver accelerated towards $30 the mining sector has flatlined with GPM actually dropping 9% below the rest of the sector today creating an opportunity to get back on board for additional upside. With Gold and silver at these levels I would have expected the underlying assets to have moved such that GPM was already at 85-90p, yet here we are at 65.5p. The situation is quite unreal to say the least. All the best.

It appears that a major gold bull market is starting to get underway and a lot of investors will be looking for ways to play the sector. Alba should focus most of its resources on it's Clogau project to take advantage of this. Unfortunately a lot of retail investors won't realised this is a gold stock and so I think it's time to change the name of the company to make it obvious. This would lead to a large increase in retail investment flows which would drive the SP and help fund development. My suggestions are Alba Gold or Dragon Gold. Get on it BOD.

According to the notice to mariners current operations for the Stena Carron are due to finish tomorrow so news of rig mobilisation to spud should be imminent.

Nothing wrong with that RNS. RBD now offering even better gearing for WN relative to UJO at 3.5x. No brainer.

However some of those risk factors have been reduced significantly by previous drill so the 24% COS should now be much higher. Care to hazard a guess?

These facts have been know for a long time so why is JKX moving RIGHT NOW? Is it just twitter ramping or is there a specific new catalyst? Lots of O&G shares are on their knees so the undervalued argument could be made for may of them.

My thinking was it allows TLW to focus more exploration spend on Orinduik. Pretty sure Hess said the other day they were focussing on Guyana exploration and looking for more Guyana acreage, so I guess they're looking at TLW's share of Orinduik. No doubt there will be several other interested parties. With elections impasse sorted we may start to see some corporate activity.

Now that they're in power you may find that the new government falls silent on its opposition towards to the oil contracts. It's surprising what people promise to get elected and then forget about when in office. The new government sounds eager for the oil sector to get back to business so even if there are changes expect them to be swift and then business as usual.

Oil is the most important issue in Guyanese politics, Exxon is the key player in Guyana's oil industry, Exxon is the largest US oil company and Guyana is Exxon's most important project. The political impasse has resolved istelf very quickly following the imposition of sanctions by the US and the US would not have assisted in helping the opposition get into office if it were to jeopardize Exxon's interests in Guyana. The fact that the deadlock has finally been resolved in this manner suggest to me that any licence changes have already been agreed upon behind the scenes between all parties concerned (Guyana, licence holders, US government) and in a way which is not unfavorable to Exxon's interests. Most likely any change if any will consist of a small free carry or revenue interest for Guyana on the licences signed after the Stabroek licence, that is to say the Kaieteur and Canje blocks.
