BTC first hit the current price at around midday last Thursday. ARB was 110p at the time. ARB closed at 110p on Friday. Storm in a tea cup.

$41K+ will come Chris, but I still think we'll get a couple more days consolidation with higher lows before the next breakout. We should have a really strong base to move higher by then.

Exactly, with huge short to medium term upside like that it makes no sense to take huge risks to try and scalp a few percent. ARB and chill.

A rapid bounce would suggest that was indeed the consolidation low. +$3K in 30 minutes and rising. Excellent sign.

That's all well and good, but cryptos are not stocks. In the last cyclical bull markets cryptos went absolutely berserk and romped higher and higher for a significant period. Lots of people called for pullbacks or a collapse saying it was too high yet crypto just kicked up through the gears forming steeper and steeper parabolas. While its admirable to try and trade cryptos during this phase, the slightest miscalculation could leave you whipsawed out by an order of magnitude. In the case of ARB the risks are far greater as you can only get back in again during LSE market hours leaving 4 x 15.5 hour periods and one 63.5 hour period per week where you could get ripped a new one by a gap up in BTC. The time for trading this was before the bull market ignited. Now it's a case of be right and sit tight until crypto reaches its cyclical highs, which looks set to be some time in the next few months.

Volume is also much higher. A good sign that was the low.

Clear out the weak sellers and then ready for the next move.

I tried to mine MaxCoin on launch. It was rumored the overall hash would be lowish so there was a chance of getting some. Think it would have taken a century so I decided to save my bandwidth and electricity. And yet my LTC was on BTCe.

Tommy, I don't own crypto myself as I don't want to given ID to unknown parties and prefer to do my investing through the stock market. There will be many like me looking to gain serious crypto exposure through the LSE and ARB is definitely the best way to do so, which should put a really strong bid under the SP. What else are they going to buy? I did purchase LTC (Litecoin) at $4.50 a long time ago, but on trying to sell at near $300 discovered the exchange I'd left it on to enable a quick sell had gone bust. Lesson is always store it yourself. Some on here have recommended Binance. Bittylicious is quick and OK for tiny amounts, but from now on I'm sticking with miners.

Not sure that's enough volume for the cycle lows of this consolidation phase, but it's looking increasingly likely that was it. If we retake $40K then I think this weeks consolidation is resolved and next we move higher.

A drop to $35-36K would be good, rinsing out all the weak hands and completing the pullback followed by a sharp rebound. Getting this out of the way while the equity markets is closed is perfect.

Last week's breakdown lasted 3 hours and the rebound was even quicker. I was hoping for another shakeout before Monday to refresh the rally and set us up ready to move higher, and it looks like its happening . Excellent timing.

as per last Monday. Any further drop should see huge buying and a very fast rebound. Way better to get this kind of price action than a sudden shoot over $50K if we want a sustained rally over the next few months.
