In any case you may find the spreads on the 'free' platforms are horrendous, so if you're buying anything more than a tiny amount it's actually better to use a standard broker. Many of them are able to beat the spread significantly and save you a lot more than £12.

All they needed to say was that holes X & Y have been drilled and we expect the results by Z. By making a song and dance about it being a delay and getting all negative they just kicked their own shareholders in the face for no reason whatsoever. They didn't even have to mention the lab at all. Classic example of over honesty, thinking your being helpful by giving lots and lots of detail, detail which is totally unnecessary and only serves to focus attention on an irrelevant negative. Sometimes it's all about knowing when to keep your mouth shut, especially when the details are not important. Whoever wrote that RNS needs to up their game big time.

Early bids on L2 tend to be a bit wayward so you would expect them to narrow towards the open. Current US mid is 146.5 then, which is around 107p. That's actually much better than a sudden gap up, which could lead to selling. Makes for a stronger move.

Investor sentiment is very important for small cap stocks and Brad's performance so far is not giving me the impression that he's understands that. Some of the wording in yesterday's RNS was dreadful. Totally clueless when it comes to PR. Isn't Gervais available? $200K is a tiny exposure to the blockchain space and PIRI market cap is already £14M, so your paying £14M for £150K worth of exposure to a blockchain tech project. Their project is more DeFi that crypto and I can't find the associate coin YOP listed on any exchanges as yet. If you want exposure to the crypto bull market the by far the best play on the LSE is ARB.
