I'm uber bullish on ARB, just want a tiny bit of diversification. Good point on Ebang, although being China based I'm less keen.

HL don't offer all the overseas listed miners, but of those they do DGHI and DMGI look best value. I have a bit of each, but which would you take and why? DMGI seems more transparent and a bit further down the tracks, but has had to reschedule its placing due to price volatility. DMGI has finished its funding and is ready to start upgrading its facilities.

I wholeheartedly agree Ryan. GST looks like a load of old codswallop. So far they appear to be a blockchain bandwagoneer with nothing concrete apart from some staff appointments and a bit of paperwork filed to set up a couple of subsidiary wrappers. That hot air is currently priced at £26.3M market cap. COIN is less than half of that and has interests in several actual blockchain investments including a basket of several cryptos including BTC, ETH, ICX and RIF plus some Non Fungible Token (NFT) projects which is another hot sector in the current crypto bull cycle. There is no contest IMO.

I'm guessing 300 acres are for the giant statue of PW riding the good ship Argo towards the blockchain future ... solid silver of course.

SP roofed it so it was a good time to for them to sell a few. Seems perfectly sensible and normal. SP dropped just like the other miners. All of a sudden cryptos start to pick up again and sector looks like it's about to surge so appetite for ARB suddenly picks up and they are offered a nice chunk of cash at short notice before lift-off. Again, all perfectly sensible and normal. Stop reading too much into it.

I don't think the placing should dent the confidence of any sensible ARB investor at all. The company can now push ahead with Texas operations more rapidly so the bull case is even stronger and people should be even more confident. We probably have a bit of placing churn and a few lily livers getting skittish as they listen to the bottom fishers. Everything looks peachy to me. GLA

Agreed. I'm thinking he should wait until BTC breaks $100K before we go on NASDAQ. ARB should already be much higher by then, sentiment will be through the roof across the sector and a NASDAQ listing at that point could well send ARB into a vertical meltup supernova.

Has anyone else taken a stake in PIRI? They have 32.5M Pluto shares and warrants for another 24M. This is obviously a smaller stake than ARB, but much bigger relative to their market cap. I have a much larger holding in ARB, but for exposure to Web 3.0 and DeFi I thought it was worth taking a few PIRI to get a bit of extra leverage.

With any positive court progress and cryptos roofing it this should rocket sharpish. Looks like this morning was a gift entry.

Cryptos are surging across the board and all my crypto equities are going great guns. Any whiff off BTC related news here should light this up big time. Re-posting from Feb 17.

ARB did a placing for £22.4M recently and are spending I think around half of that to add 610 peta hash, so £10M would clearly buy a huge amount of power, around 550 peta hash I guess.

In January ARB mined 93 BTC equivalent of which roughly 5% was ZCash, so about 88.4 BTC and their BTC hash rate was 787 peta hash. Ceteris paribus 550 peta hash would generate around 61.7 BTC or £2.3M per month.

Even if we use a figure of £0.5M from the recent CLP placing to buy rigs we might expect that to generate 3 BTC or £115K per month net to CLP. Even on this basis CLP looks way too cheap. If any more funds become available for extra rigs then look out above.

If we update that to use £3M of the £3.7M you mention then we get a figure of 18 BTC or £690K per month net to CLP for BTC production. At a PE of 20, which seems low for a tech stock particularly at this point in time, we get a market cap for CLP of £165.6M or 18.5p per share.
