To be fair MYN appears to be about as well as MXO, in which case SO is doing about as well as I am at investing in oil.

Some big sells in the mix too. It's getting quite frustrating about the prod figs now. Especially off the back of all other figures being late this year.... and they don't even have the excuse of Israeli holidays this time ;0p

Time will tell regarding Q3 I guess, regarding DKL business model, so for it's results have been pretty strong, it's growth has been excellent and we are still yet to achieve maximum through flow (which should be achieved in the next couple of years). Apart from the hot dry spell last year and the production down time (which seems to be mitigated now) I can't have too many gripes regarding the business.

PS this isn't only a DKL issue, seems like most AIM companies are at it.

Cheers for the response FK, but I was kind of referring to ALL results that have been "late" this year, including the final results (which are surely complusory).... I say"late" as they never actually tell us when they are due! Like I say all major listed companies have a financial calendar that they stick to, (including interim updates by the way) I just can't see how AIM shares can just do what they like in a hap hazard fashion and be weeks late on certain items (ok granted only compsory items, but you get my drift)...... anyway, rant over lol ;o)

Can someone explain to me how AIM companies get away with the slack attitude to financial results? Major listed companies provide a) due financial dates and b) almost never miss the dates .... AIM just provide the info willy nilly whenever suits them. Takes the Michael a little bit TBH

Trading certainly seems to have picked up, could be up on the 0.7s in a couple of days if it persists

clearly another shake down, the MM's want your shares pre dividend i'm guessing. They can do one, if it goes near 1300p im having more.

to be honest a more pressing concern for me is the Q3 prod figs......some time today might be nice ;o) and for FK, he's a bit more concerned about the Biopalm holdings - day 71 mate lol

I can't comment on the specifics you're talking about as I don't know enough about Norpalm, however I will say I have been slightly troubled by the fact Norpalm are clearly in trouble financially, and you do have to ask yourself why? And what can DKL do differently that proofs them from the troubles. It's probably fair to say I'm more negative than most on the subject. That said, I do have faith in DKL BOD, so if they think it's a goer and they can prove why then fair enough.

Just flipping the perspective, what's your opinion of worst case from this news then Bermondsey ? Ponoro deciding to stay in but continuing to veto cash calls? I guess its unlikely from their rhetoric, Just trying to understand the bounding envelope from this.

Yeah it does seem their smart investor thingy is garbage! I'm with AJBell also in an ISA. They have been trouble free, no admin charge and trades are between £5-10 depending on how many trades I do. I rate them. Divi is typically paid within an hour of opening! (Although it does "seem" as though SCRIP has been removed as an option weirdly.... might be just me being thick. Anyhoo...... where's the Q3 prod figures!!!!!? Lol

I did buy Bovis after they got hammered earlier this year at 770p, sold out at 910p after GFRD tapped them up..... then GFRD got hammered from what should be a one off hit, so transferred the funds into there and been there since. GFRD hasn't really seen any SP movement since the HTBS extension announcement so I'm hoping it ticks up soon.

It's probably also worth noting almost all of these are recent purchases except DKL. I've recently cleared the decks and started again, I've done pretty well I think over the last 12.months (+35%) so thought it a good idea to clear out where I made my profits..... I would say I have inadvertently become a swing trader over the last year, and im looking to transfer those profits into a longer term strategy. Ill prob try and keep 50% as swing and 50% as long term going forward.

Although Barclays might be a bit of a touchy for you rugs lol? Did you bin them off in the end and get a different broker?

my BIGGEST mistake this year has been a WHOPPER!!!!!!! I was eye balling gold shares after the last dip near the US interest rate hike rumours and looked at hummingbird, it went down to 16p but I got greedy and decided 12p was my target. It didn't happen and I moved onto other things................checked it yesterday and it went up to 40p!!!!!! I could cry.

PS note ive tweaked my average on DKL from 11.8p to 11.7p, the delta comes from accounting for the recent divi payment (although in reality over the past 3 years ive swung traded DKL and made quite a bit out of it, so my "real" average is probably less than 8p.......just becomes too complicated to keep a track of things if I start accounting like that).

hey folks, well im almost maxed out at present, only have ~10% as cash. Im in quite a few spread over various sectors: GFRD - AVG 1290p - 25.7% BT - AVG 300p - 10.8% BARC - AVG 200p - 10% LLOYDS - AVG 66p - 5% DKL - AVG 11.7p - 21% PFC - AVG 430p - 8% MXO - AVG 0.85p - 12.7% I will be looking to offload some of these as soon as they tick up, im expecting GFRD to burst first (but might keep it for the divi), MXO is an unknown and could do anything at anytime, ive seen it blow to 1.4p in days before on the slightest of news (and made pretty good cash swing trading it several times - just got caught with my pants down on this swing and ive had to average down on it). I am looking to build my stakes in banks though as I believe long term interest rates have to go up .....surely lol? Plus BARC and LLOYDS divi is looking promising.

There's quite a lot of action both ways TBH, big buys and big sells.... tough to call it ATM, we need those prod figures to give it direction
